10/10 first time ordering – excellent soft goat curry, channa perfect flavour, rice is high quality and chicken tikka and beef kebabs were very well done. Appreciate the sweet creamy balance of chicken tikka and nice kick of the beef kebabs. Perfect balance. Food was packaged thoughtfully and showed up fresh and hot. Loved my order via door dash, excited to try in person.

This is hands down the best place for chole and alloo puri in all of bay area. Amazing prices and chai is complimentary. I drove an hour on Valentines day with my wife to come eat here. This is as authentic as it gets. The people are very friendly and food is perfect every time. The portions are large and I always have left overs. I have tried 50+ places on the west coast for authentic delhi chole flavor. Nothing has ever come close to this.

Been to this restaurant 6 times in 5 month stay in CA. Their food has authenticity of Pakistani food. Nihari and Halwa Puri are my favorite. I like the concept of ordering through Kiosk and they bring the food too you. It’s a self service and love their Chai tea.

Strongly recommend the Kheema naan which is naan bread stuffed with minced and spiced kheema, baked in a clay oven and served with green yogurt mint chutney and onions. Really delicious and generous portion size.
Also recommend the karhai chicken which is tangy and flavorful, topped with green chillies and a decent serving of chicken pieces.
Keen to try their other items, especially the weekend halwa puri and channa.

I was traveling through San Jose and found this restaurant food was excellent! Clean place nice environment and everything we tried in breakfast and then lunch was excellent in taste. I would definitely recommend people to try this restaurant!

SO delicious, rich, flavorful food, and for a really great price. We ordered the halva, chole, puri combo and lamb nihari, all for about $30 and chai was included. It was so tasty, I especially loved the chole. The nihari was super rich and flavorful. I didn’t end up eating very much because of how heavy it felt, but I really enjoyed the flavors. Great chai too

Alrighty honest review time. Came for halwa puree on Sunday to lahori. As I am in San Jose this was closest place to come to.
We came at 11 and were first people here, they have kiosk to make things easier.
The chai even came out few minutes after the store opened. Placed our order and within like 15-20min our trays came.
Oh boy. The portions are HUUUUGE. I doubt a single person (whose health conscious lol but ironic that we came for it and speaking of health (cheat meal)) could finish it all.
Channe were really good. Especially with the onion touch. The consistency was thick not runny water like other places make it.
The recommendation I would make is have the halwa be a bit sweeter. Lol my mom and I make halwa puree at home and the halwa we had today felt a bit oldish? And it wasn’t as sweet. So I would say that needed a bit of work.
The purees were amazing Allahuma barik .
The chai was solid too.
By like 11:30 ppl started pouring in and I could hear DoorDash orders coming into so better get here early
The staff was hella nice too when I went and grabbed to go stuff and did I mention chai was on the house?

Very happy with the food and service. They are take out only these dates, good idea to call ahead and place your order or use many of the delivery services they entertain. Street parking can be in short supply, two person pickup is a good idea. They have specialized menu for different days, ask for it, besides the regular menu. Sundays have puri, channa and halwa. They accept credit cards.

Good food and good service. Lahore cholay were great! Chicken karahi was good too. Naan were fresh and we’ll baked. The place is clean and has quite a bit of seating.
Chai was great and is free. Glad it wasn’t sweetened. Would recommend for the great food.
