I ordered several dishes from this restaurant, including Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani, samosas, and both butter and garlic naan—and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
The Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala had absolutely no flavor. It honestly felt like pieces of chicken and paneer were simply tossed into plain tomato sauce with no seasoning or depth at all. The Dal Makhani was bitter and nothing like a traditional dal makhani should be. The samosas, which are usually one of my favorite items here, were dry and bland, and both the butter naan and garlic naan were dry as well.
When I called the restaurant to politely explain that the food was not enjoyable, the owner demanded that I take time out of my evening to return all of the food so he could show it to the chef. He also said he would not issue any refund unless I brought the food back or allowed him to come pick it up himself. This was completely unreasonable and something I’ve never experienced before.
Overall, poor food quality and even worse customer service. Very disappointing experience, and I won’t be ordering from here again.

Food was amazing. Freshly cooked and spice level can be adjusted to individual liking. Sitting arrangements are bright and spacious.

Tried Lahore Chatkhara after hearing several good reviews about their haleem. Unfortunately, jt didn’t quite live up to the expectations. The haleem was a bit too soggy and lacked the rich, hearty texture that usually comes from slow-cooked meat and lentils.
It tasted as if the goat meat had been blended in a mixer to create a paste-like consistency rather than being slow-cooked and naturally broken down during the cooking process. Because of that, the dish missed the depth and traditional texture that makes a good haleem stand out.
**Ratings:**
Place: 3.5/5
Staff: 2/5
Food: 2.5/5
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it could definitely be improved with better cooking technique and texture.

We ordered take away from Lahore Chatkhara for the first time last night. I have to eat gluten free so I am always nervous the first time eating anywhere but I was assured they would take great care of me and they did. The food was wonderful. It was so flavorful and delicious! I did not get sick which happens an hour after eating anything with gluten. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone gluten free and of course everyone else!

A delightful experience at Lahore Chatkhara! From the mouthwatering flavors that transported me straight to the streets of Lahore, to the warm hospitality and vibrant atmosphere — everything was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic taste and great vibes❤️

WaAllahi, this is not slander. Honestly, I found hair in the bread. The butter chicken and bread were not tasty, not even worth 1 star. Now I even doubt whether the meat is halal. I only ate about 10% and will throw the rest in the trash. Not recommended!

Great place to enjoy some Pakistani food. Food was absolutely freshly made, seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend the food, do note that it takes more time to get the food as such prepared. Lovely hosts and service, took great care of our kids. Will be back again. We had the tandoori platter, the Pakistani chicken curry and goat biriyani – everything was great.

Just tried this new restaurant for the first time and the food was really great! I ordered take-out so I didn’t get the full dine-in experience this time, but I will definitely be back! It’s a quaint little restaurant so don’t expect top-tier ambiance. But that hole-in-the-wall vibe is what makes this place even more special. Giving it 4 stars out of 5 only because I just ordered two veg dishes (1 egg biryani and 1 paneer) and no non-veg items, so can’t give a comprehensive rating of the place yet. However, both dishes were wonderful. If you ask for spicy – they deliver! The paneer was very soft as well.
The man at the front who helped me today was such a sweetheart. Very respectful and welcoming – things like that really make a difference nowadays. I’m very excited that we have another Indian/Paki restaurant nearby and I 10/10 recommend people to give this place a try 🙂

Tried this new halal spot in Marlboro a few days ago for takeout. I ordered chicken fried noodles, they were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. They were spicy, flavorful, and had a kick to them which is a rare halal find in this area. I’m excited to try to the rest of their items as I’m sure they’ll be serving delicious food.
