I have been coming here for their pizza for years and I am ashamed I have never left a review. Pizza is always, hot, fresh, and delicious. Their 2 slices and a drink for $6.99 is the best deal in Virginia Beach. Their staff is always friendly, restaurant is always clean, and all their food is amazing. Go get yourself a pie, some wings, and a hot Italian sub. You will thank me later.

Still the best pizza in VB. I do my pizzas differently with no cheese! This is as close to to pizza as I can get that i remember from childhood. The bread dough is hand made and fresh ingredients. The sauce has a spice to it, but it helps make the toppings taste that much better.
I’ll call it right now, better than Calz, Marcos, Mod, and some other mom and pop style places in the area! Fantastic chefs they have on staff! Cant wait for the next visit hopefully sooner than later!
Last note, Pizza Hut taste like cardboard this is not Pizza Hut quality pie, it’s 1,000X BETTER! Dare I say better than Chicago Pizza in Chicago!

I haven’t been here in forever… and by forever I mean a decade. Distance is probably the biggest factor as it’s 20 miles from where I currently live… However I digress. My brother came into town last night for Thanksgiving and we rolled the pizza dice and ended up going to Lago Mar Pizza.
We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door and the young lady behind the counter brought us menus, took our drink order and ended up also being our server. The establishment was at about 1/3 capacity as well which isn’t bad for a Tuesday night.
We ordered some fried cheese sticks and a 16″ pie with pepperoni and onions. The app promptly arrived at the table right after our drinks and the pizza arrived about 10-12 minutes after the app.
I found the cheese sticks to be nothing special, however the pizza was on point. It didn’t quite taste the same as I remember it, however it’s been 10 years and recipes / ingredients are bound to change. It’s not a complaint at all, it was just slightly different. I want to point out the dough was very fresh and the sauce was good to. I think it’s the sauce that was different actually now that I’m thinking about it.
Long story short, the only evidence of this pizza ever existing are the photos attached to this review. It’s gone!

Not well known by many but those who frequent Lago Mar pizza love it. This is the closest I have found to the pizza back “home” in the Midwest. I think the secret is lots of good cheese!! Shelby has been our server the two times we dined in, and is very attentive and does a great job. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We got a few pizzas from here. I wouldn’t recommend this place for pizza. We rated the pizza a 5 out of 10. Pizza is not what we are used to up north. It’s thick like Pizza Hut. I almost would rather Pizza Hut.

I grabbed a veggie pizza as it’s quick and easy on a rainy day. Got home after enough time that pizza was a little more than room temperature. I took a bite and devoured the remainder of my 1st slice, took my time and really enjoyed the 2nd. Wanted a 3rd but too full. Had a little container of what I believe to be home made ranch dressing that was amazing!

This place used to be ok to good, but ordered pizzas this year and not only way overpriced, but it was some of the worst pizza I had except for the place beside the sandbridge market, that place was even worse. I will never get pizza from this place again.

Ordered 4 large pizza and appetizers for delivery. Pizza came hot and on time. The appetizers were good, pretty solid wings. The pizza was VERY disappointing. Really thick and doughy crust. Not the end of the world but there was an embarrassingly low amount meat on the meat pizzas. I counted only 9 sausages on an entire large pizza. Tons of pieces with no meat. That is unacceptable. I would recommend looking elsewhere unless you like dough with minimal toppings.

Fantastic pizza and great wings. Ordered 9 large (various) pies and 7 orders of wings and everything was absolutely amazing. There pizza is definitely not thin crust and everyone completely loved it.
