My friends and I drove in from Alexandria la to eat here. I feel the food was seasoned to perfection. It was my first time to eat here and I truly experienced cajun food. I had corn on the cob, red potatoes, boudin, catfish, etouffee, my food was all delicious. Our server was on point in making sure we enjoyed our food. The atmosphere reminded me of a good Ole maw and paw restaurant. I would definitely eat here again.

Went for my daughter’s birthday dinner. The food was great! Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was nice and homey. All of the staff were excellent and attentive. We could tell they genuinely cared about their customers! Our waitress Rebekah was really nice and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back!!!

We visited Lagneaux’s Restaurant as a family — my wife Meagan, our baby Macy, and myself — expecting a normal, enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, this experience turned into something extremely concerning.
After eating, all three of us became very sick. Within a short time, we were dealing with severe stomach issues and nonstop diarrhea. This wasn’t mild discomfort — we’ve literally been running to the bathroom constantly since leaving. When every person who ate there ends up sick, that’s not a coincidence.
I’m not posting this to bash the restaurant, but to warn others to be very cautious about the food. Watching your child get sick after eating out is upsetting, and no family should have to deal with this.
I sincerely hope management looks into their food handling, storage, and preparation practices, because something clearly went wrong. Food safety is serious, especially for children and families.
Please take this as a warning and pay close attention if you choose to eat here.

The food was great! My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I wanted to eat everything on the buffet times two.
Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, there are servers at the buffet. They are very friendly and very generous with the serving sizes.
My Waiter was very attentive even though it was pretty busy. He made sure that our table was cleared and drinks were refilled when needed.

Wife wanted to take me out to eat for my birthday & I wanted seafood. Living in Alexandria our dining selection is limited when it comes to seafood. Have known about Lagneauxs for years & finally decided to give it a try & I wasn’t disappointed. Great selection of fresh food buffet style and the selection had generous amounts of great Cajun foods. Definitely worth the drive.. Arrived just before opening time and had a few of us waiting on opening however when we left, the parking lot was packed. I can only imagine the crowd when crawfish is in season.. long story short, definitely worth the drive and I will eat there again for sure… Our server, Amy l, was very attentive…

Celebrated my mother in law birthday Wednesday at 6:30 pm and half ate the Buffett the other half order off the menu. The people who ordered off the menu it took over a hour to bring our plates and not to mention my shrimp pasta was cold and too watery!!!! The service was poor and the food was horrible. It was not worth the price we paid! The food use to be amazing back in the day now it’s trash. Do better

Attended birthday party the waitress was great. She served 18 people with ease! The buffet was $25.. the food was good. We were placed in a room and had joining tables. Older building, could use some remodeling.. I applauded our waitress she was amazing! Drinks were not strong. Overall good experience
