I ABSOLUTELY LOVE to visit this store, even IF what I want is not in stock.
Why do I just go in to enjoy my visit??
A couple of Excellent reasons:
1.) The staff is ABSOLUTELY wonderful just to chat with! Even if my preferred selections are out of stock – they will 95% of the time find me something else to interest me!
2.) Just the smells of the pipe tobacco they have is such fun to take a deep whiff of! To me? It’s just a grand place to take a deep breath & enjoy the ambiance.
They are also the ONLY place I can usually find the UK brand of cigarettes I love!

The most highly respected cigar shop in the tri state area HANDS down. These guys provide top tier service that you would only expect in the highest quality boutiques. Their supples and options are of the highest caliber. Th put it simply, you won’t find another shop in the tri state area that can even skim the surface of the quality of products and the superb level of craftsmanship and professionalism. This is the only place where any connoisseur of cigars, pipes, pipe tobacco and wine within a 100 mile radius would feel at home. It’s the truth. Point blank this is the only shop you need.

The Rooftop delivers on its promise of tasty cocktails mixed by attentive, eager bartenders and friendly servers. The outside terrace-lounge is casual, comfortable and relaxing. A delightful, cigar-friendly spot above the pot-holes, lazy/haphazard street-upgrades and other frustrations of Huntington.

LaFontaine’s is such a great experience! I recently moved to the area and have gone weekly because it is such a fun time. I want to especially recognize how great their service is. This past Friday I suffered an allergic reaction from a cocktail, which unbeknownst to me contained egg whites, a food I am severely allergic to. I tried a friend’s drink and after sensing that something felt “off”, walked up to the bar and asked for some water. The bartender, who I later found out is also the owner, immediately helped me and informed me of the ingredients in the cocktails. He quickly called 911 and accompanied me and my friends downstairs to wait. I really appreciated him acting so promptly and being there for me, even if it’s his job, he could’ve easily kept bartending because it was a very busy night. For this, I applaud him for being such an attentive business owner. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for non-egg containing cocktails of course. Thank you for taking my medical concerns seriously.

Absolutely amazing customer service you can tell that the owners care about your business. Their walk-in humidor has a large selection and the best that I know of in the Huntington area. They have nice bulk pipe tobacco and a few tins for sale. Again you will not find a nicer owner of any shop in the entire Huntington area. Always makes me feel and anybody with me feel like family when I go in

Love the atmosphere. Very nice. Bartender was very nice. Blonde waitress was not very friendly at all. Actually was kind of rude. I would recommend walking up to the bar for your drinks rather than asking the waitress for anything (the tall blonde one anyways.) She did not make us feel welcome.

I am a casual cigar aficionado who lives in Ona, WV. I first walked into La Fontaines 2 years ago and met Bill and was full of questions about cigars and the differences and brands. Bill was very friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly steered my towards my first cigar purchase and I have been back ever since. I have since tried many brands of cigars that La Fontaines has to offer and have even purchased humidors, Xikar cutters and lighters and other pieces of cigar-related equipment there. I am always greeted when I come in and the events hosted by Bill and his staff are always fun and offer great deals along with a chance to meet various vendors. It is never a bad experience when I go to La Fontaines. If you decide to stop in there, tell them that Stephan sent you.
