Oh gosh…. This was definitely one of the ABSOLUTE BEST restaurants I went in my life (and they are plenty of them). Everything was exquisite: the service was a 100/10, the atmosphere a 10/10 and the foooood?! The food was a 10000/10. I still dream of everything I ate there. I recommend it 10000000% and I would definitely be back in Miami just for their food.
Thank you sooooooo much for giving me this pleasure of eating your food.

Happy Hour had a $10 Grey Goose Martini… ummm can’t go wrong with that! Small bites looked appetizing and well be back for those soon!
The ambiance was very “Miami” with splash of art deco & dim lights alongside bold and dramatic velvet interiors with a tropical touch. A great place to eat out for a celebration – the vibe was high-end yet romantic.
We had the Tomahawk steak and it was cooked perfectly, the sauce was a pair made in heaven. We opted for the Truffle Mac & cheese and pistachio broccolini which also cooked perfectly – crispy on the outside and tender and juicy at the center. We came just for this special at $150 and SO glad we did. We had been big Perry’s Steakhouse fans in the past but this place outdid them by far. The presentation of the steak rolled out on a silver cart then sliced table side was a nice featured experience!
Service was lovely by a young lady named Marie, many French servers and mangers made me think the food must be exquisite…. It sure was! we went on a Wednesday evening and the seating was about 40% full which was just what we wanted at the center of the hustle and bustle of busy downtown Miami! We were looking for something special but without the crowds and crazy.
We really enjoyed this spot and Highly recommend it!

This place blew me away! I’m not exaggerating when I say the filet mignon I had here had the best crust I’ve ever tasted …. better than anything I’ve had in the US, Europe, Argentina, or Brazil. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor in every bite.
I started with the Octopus Bruschetta, which was tender, flavorful, and a perfect opener before the main event.
I sat at the bar, and Guy, the bartender, made the experience even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both the cocktail list and the menu, gave great recommendations, and really elevated the whole dinner with his service and attention.
The atmosphere is stunning, the drinks are on point, and the food is seriously top tier. If you’re a steak lover, this place is a must.
I’ll absolutely be back!!

We had an amazing night with our friends at Lafayette! The service was impeccable (thank you to Maria and the entire team). The DJ played great music that wasn’t too loud. The atmosphere is very sophisticated, and the food is classic but better than anything any of us had tried before. Truly a great night! Highly recommend this place!

Had a lovely dinner at Lafayette and was genuinely impressed with most of what we tried. The standout dish for me was the sea bass perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. It was paired with carrots in a curry dressing, which was surprisingly well-balanced and added a great depth to the plate. A really well-executed combo.
The shrimp cocktail was also a hit super fresh and served with a creamy avocado mousse that added a nice twist to a classic dish. Elegant and satisfying.
Only miss of the evening was the sorbet extremely sour to the point it overwhelmed rather than refreshed. I could’ve done without it.
Service was attentive, and the atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy. Overall, a great experience with a couple of memorable highlights. Would definitely return!

This New Year’s Eve event hosted by Lafayette was probably the worst experience I have ever done in my six years in Miami. I have lived in Brickell for six years and done many restaurants for major events with prefix menus. And none have made me this upset ever to the point where I am writing this review. When booking to dine, I was under the impression that there was going to be a prefix menu, which is not a problem as most restaurants here have a prefix menu on major holidays. However, I reserved a table for four with the understanding that each person would be able to order their own meal selections from the prefix menu as it was $155 per person. Once we arrived and were seated, we then were told that the food would come out family style. With that being said we received one piece of each Of very small 1st entree/ appetizer each during the first course and we all had to split the second and third entree. This means four women had to split a 10 to 15 ounce steak and one lobster tail. With two small mashed potatoes and two plates of veggies (carrots). the dessert options actually ended up being the only thing that served all four people and most of us do not eat desserts so that ended up being a waste. I say this to say with a bill of $1000 I was highly disappointed in the options and selections during New Year’s Eve. Everyone had to leave and get more food right after this as we still left very very hungry. It just was a major disappointment and honestly has me at a point where I have decided to never go here again for New Year’s Eve or any prefix menu event. I hope you guys do better next year as this definitely was not worth it.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat steak . Went here for my birthday. Had the filet mignon, grilled octopus , cream spinach and branzino. Ended with the lava cake . Service was very attentive and provided us with great recommendations for wine . The decor was amazing too, like an old NY style steak house.

We had a great experience at Lafayette Miami. We ordered the $60 three-course meal, which was such a good value for the quality and portions. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our waitress, Marie, was wonderful – friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The bartenders were also super nice and made excellent drinks. We loved that their happy hour runs until 8 pm, even on a Saturday night. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and great food. We’ll definitely be back!

Lafayette nails the steak—tender, flavorful, and truly well done (not the overcooked kind). Drinks were good, nothing to write sonnets about, but they did their job. The vibe is polished, the service is sharp, and the bill… well, let’s just say even with Miami Spice menu, you won’t walk out under $130 a head. Delicious? Absolutely. Affordable? Not a chance.
