We had such a fabulous evening at Ladyhawk in West Hollywood. The atmosphere is effortlessly chic — stylish without feeling overdone — and it sets the perfect tone for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience. The wait staff truly made the night special: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly.

The drinks were outstanding. I especially loved that the sweetness level was perfectly balanced — not overpowering, just right. We were told all the syrups are made in-house and prepared fresh daily, which made total sense because every sip tasted vibrant and thoughtfully crafted.

For appetizers, we ordered the zaatar ganoush, octopus, and muhammara — and honestly, every single dish was a hit. The zaatar bread with zhoug was absolutely spectacular. Fresh, flavorful, and addictive. The muhammara had the perfect balance of walnuts with just the right touch of sweetness. The octopus was beautifully charred — tender inside with that perfect smoky finish.

For mains, we shared the whole fish with a salad, and it was cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, moist and flaky inside, with superb, well-layered flavors.

We ended the night with the olive oil cake, which was perfectly moist and the ideal sweet finish to the meal.

Safe to say, after this dinner, zhoug has officially become my new favorite condiment. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel and excellent restaurant! They have a good happy hour as well with food and drinks and is worth checking out. The space is classy and the service is very professional. Our group was pleasantly surprised overall and enjoyed each of our dishes. The Mezze platter is wonderful to share and has classic Middle Eastern flavors. We really enjoyed the Olive Oil Cake too and was also very shareable.

Decided to stop in tonight to sit at the bar, and I’m glad I did! Ladyhaw was a hit, and I’ll be sure to add it to the rotation.

I was in the mood for Middle Eastern food with LA own spin on it…and that’s exactly what I got. Located in the heart of WeHo, the place is just elegant, vibey and live enough without being over the top. My bartender was wonderful and made great recommendations.

I opted for the infamous za’atar man’oushe, which was cooked to perfection and unique in its presentation. For my main, I went with olive crusted lamb chops, and they were heavenly.

I skipped dessert tonight – nothing spoke to me, so expanding it slightly would be my only recommendation.

Thanks for making my night better!

Came here for my birthday—and was such a treat! Food was delicious (brought my family here so we could try more of the food!). We recommend the platter as it includes all the appetizers for you to try. Fattoush was delicious as well as the Zatar Manoushe. Drinks were all delicious. Great service & beautifully designed restaurant with super comfy couches as the seats!

Oh man everything about our meal at Ladyhawk was amazing. Our server Janet was wonderful, knowledgeable, and attentive and the food was delicious. My personal fave were the carrots and octopus, and my husband’s favorite was the wagyu picahna.

I tried the Ladyhawk restaurant for 4 mornings while staying at the Kimpton La Peer.

The food is solid with good portion sizes but overpriced. Yogurt and Oatmeal are both $14 while one slide of avocado toast is $17. Staff are very friendly and professional and the interior is upscale and well-designed.

So why the 1-Star rating?
I really wish the IHG / Kimpton corporate would stop copying trashy Vegas hotels and ripping guests off through charging a daily $46 ‘amenity’ fee for a $15 breakfast credit. Calling yourself a luxury hotel and then charging $46 for a bowl of oatmeal is ludicrous. The other ‘amenities’ in the fee are a joke: access to coworking spaces but they’re a 30+ minute drive away, charging for cabana rentals at a mostly-empty pool with no spa, complimentary pickleball… but only in the morning, free wifi and printing (it’s 2025 not 2005), etc.

Ladyhawk has a great vibe and a really nice space, but the food did not fully land for me. A few dishes felt under seasoned, and the pacing was off, with plates coming out awkwardly spaced. That said, the room is lovely and feels like it has a lot of untapped potential. With better timing and bolder seasoning, this could be a standout.

Great meal overall. The kitchen took a little long but they gave me a courtesy appetizer which was really nice of them considering I wasnt in a rush. The restaurant has great ambiance. The honey duck was perfectly cooked. Scallops were a little too spicy but cooked perfectly. Would eat here again at a moments notice
