I recently stopped by Lady Dahlia in Mount Prospect and had an awesome experience. The restaurant has a really welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing.
I ordered the fajitas, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They came out sizzling hot, which is always a great sign, and the portion size was generous. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the grilled peppers and onions added a perfect balance of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and you could tell care went into the preparation. The tortillas were warm, and the sides like the rice, beans, and toppings paired really well with the dish.
Overall, Lady Dahlia delivered a great dining experience. Between the flavorful food, solid portions, and friendly service, it’s definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in the Mount Prospect area and craving good Mexican food. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.

Great little dinner spot!
Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Very happy with the tacos. Chips, salsa, and guacamole were incredible.
Took a little time to get our drinks but once they arrived they were worth the wait!

Came here for a casual relaxed birthday with my peeps. Most ppl sit outside but I prefer inside. Outside with train passing by is too loud for me. Food is fresh and delicious. Margarita flights was fun for me when I couldn’t decide which one to order. Overall a great place to hangout .

After having eaten at Lady Dahlia many times since they opened, we hosted a baby shower in the event space at last weekend. The process was seamless. Working with Dimitri to book the space, choose our menu, and finalize all of the particulars was easy and collaborative. The staff took great care of us the day of the event. The food was terrific and the team was very professional. If you are looking for an event space for less than 50 seated, this is the place to choose!

First time here. We found it to be a fresh, clean and vibrant restaurant. It has a beautiful outdoor patio right along Prospect Ave. The service was exceptional. They don’t provide the chips gratis but we loved the guacamole and salsa with chips as a starter. Chicken bowl, tuna tostada and al pastor tacos were all very good. Lady Dahlia has lots of choices on its drinks menu, too. We’ll be back especially when the weather warms up because that patio looked inviting.

Had a quick lunch on a quite Sunday. The service was very good and the food was made exactly how I asked for. The ambiance is very cute and entertaining. There was lots of choices of tacos and drinks but the prices were not bad considering everything. I would recommend coming here for special occasions or simple lunch with friends or coworkers.

We decided to enjoy a spontaneous Saturday night dinner and arrived around 5 PM, greeted by a warm atmosphere and seated promptly. The tropical vibes and music set the mood, staff was attentive and friendly. The food was nothing short of exquisite—fresh, bursting with flavorful. We also appreciated the impressive selection of craft tequilas and mezcal. This place might just become our new favorite local Mexican gem! Can’t wait to come back!

The service is outstanding, the vibe feels like summer, and the food is delicious! Love the prickly pear mezcalita…perfect balance of fruit and smoke. The maple short rib appetizer is so rich and delicious…the street corn croquettes are also unique and tasty! Can’t beat the prices on taco Tuesday and you can try one of each!

Went here yesterday w/ family after swimming nearby. Ordered the chips & salsa and also got steak chimichurri tacos w/ a side of plantains. Service was great, place is really nice & clean, and the food was all amazing! I will def come back here again in the future!

A good option in downtown Mount Prospect for a night out. It is a welcoming spot with great ambiance and creative food options. On the night we visited there were some new food items on the menu and while not quite perfected yet, the items were good. I’m sure this will get even better as time goes.
The empanadas was good and probably my favorite item I had. The tacos were also good. There was a lot of items I wanted to order so might have to go back to try more items and see how things progress.
