I love this restaurant. I’ve been twice for lunch and the food is delicious. There are still many items on the menu that I’d like to try. I particularly recommend the Gochujang Cauliflower Bowl (I added tofu). It was beautifully presented and very flavorful.

I have a tree nut allergy and other dietary restrictions so I was extremely excited to see this restaurant coming to town. Getting to pick ANYTHING from a menu is rare for me.
I went yesterday with my husband and we were both so happy with the service and options available. We spoke with the woman taking our order and asked for some recommendations and absolutely loved all 3 items we got.
We will be going back for sure!

Partner and I got the Rainbow tacos and Chipotle tacos, respectively. Flavor was good, portion size solid, and not oversatiating. Pricing is very reasonable, too. Location is good, plenty of parking, but seating is mildly limited, I’m guessing due to how popular a spot this has become. It is not cramped, though. They use the space well. They liked my driving glasses haha. Plan to try their chili next time we’re around.

The food was incredible! The atmosphere when you walk in is super welcoming and friendly. Daniella and Heather are very quick to kindly help take your order. I had the Sweet Chipotle Maple Chicken Stack, it was just delicious!! Their menu has many different unique vegan and gluten free options. Will defintley be coming back in the near future!!

I am absolutely astonished by the service and quality of food here. Everything is so delicious and prepared so quickly. I got the chipotle crunch wrap, and Heather and Daniella were so quick to bring it. They both were so sweet, and made my experience here so much better!!!

This place deserves its own building! Such wonderfully kind and friendly staff, looking to please and share smiles. I got the sweet potato special, and Curry Potato dish with sauces on the side. So wonderful having fresh food, minimal oil, local ingredients, and no fake or processed foods (just not my thing.) Love that everything is gluten free. And exciting that they are experimenting with date sugar to start offering healthier baked goods. Cute little eating area where they set up a few tables tucked away from the flow of market goers. I recommend bringing your own fork for the most enjoyable experience (it’s what I do!)

I’m so happy they’ve relocated closer to me! I’ve never had a bad meal here. Lady and the shallot is one of those places I genuinely dream about eating at. Everything is fresh and vibrant, and I feel healthier with every single bite.

We have been eating regularly from this place for many years, since 2020. At first I ordered on GrubHub, and although the food was already awesome, I eventually realized it gets a bit jumbled in transport, and nothing beats eating here in person, and getting the beautiful dishes lovingly and directly from the Shallots!
This place is run by an incredible chef/entrepreneur team, Kate and Francesca, and they are visionaries. They have been refining an amazing core menu for several years (consisting of tacos, spuds, grains, and deliciously amazing sauces), and have been doing specials regularly for a while.
The specials are like a weekly vegan “omakase,” at an affordable price point, with soups that are so creative you would never see them anywhere else. (I still dream of lemon and rice soup…)
We order the special soup and dish almost weekly, but my favorite standard dishes are: The Lady’s Rancheros which features scrambled tofu with their awesome three-bean chili; or tofu over grains, which is scrambled tofu topping a grain of the day (rice, quinoa, millet, etc.) topped with a vegan aioli.
The main savory dishes are complemented by the inventive bakings of Kara and Ashley. My favorite are the sweet buns (they are cinnamon rolls!) and the sunflower butter chocolate chip cookies. If you see either, snap them up (or I will!).
There is always something exciting and new on the horizon, but the only constant since I started coming here is that it keeps getting better!!
Last thing, is that this isn’t just a restaurant but also a catering business. I used them to cater my staff events, and they are always a hit (and I feel so good for bringing such wholesome food to my staff!).
Oh, special mention to the scallion biscuit. Those are so good, I order a bunch and freeze them!
This place is amazing, you won’t regret giving them a try!
