We came to Ladle and Loaf on vacation from New York. We loved the rustic vibe and calm, pleasant atmosphere. Benny, the manager was so kind, courteous, and worked efficiently to get our food to us in a timely manner. The food was BEYOND DELICIOUS. We got the “Dirty Fries”, “Crispy Chicken”, and donut-like balls for dessert. The pulled beef was succulent, the fries cooked just the right amount, and the dish was oh so flavorful! The crispy chicken was tender inside and crunchy on the outside, without being over fried. Really impressed!

This was an incredibly delicious visit! Happened to be during an extraordinarily busy time but was handle very well by the staff. Had some of the most delicious beef bacon I’ve ever had, fresh food and pretty plentiful! Pre-warning – the buffalo chicken is very very very spicy (I love buffalo sauce but this was a 15 out of 10!)

We could not be happier with our L’Chaim celebration! From start to finish, Ladle and Loaf handled everything with such care, creativity, and professionalism. The catering and design came together seamlessly to bring every detail I requested to life — delicious food, a beautiful atmosphere, and the most stress-free experience we could have imagined. They took care of the setup and cleanup so that we were able to simply show up and enjoy the simcha with our family and friends. Everything was perfect — tasteful, elegant, and so well thought out. Extremely friendly. So great to get a kosher meat experience in New Haven. Truffle Burger was yummy. Schwarma was even better. Fries were crisp and tasty. Will be back when we return to New Haven.

We drove all the way from Philly. Food was super quick, tasty and fresh. We had tenders, fries, onions rings, wings, doner burger, soup and a chicken sandwich. All was fantastic! Was amazing to stop for a quick yud tes Kislev sudah!

Beautiful clean place with amazing food!!! The people here were very kind and helpful and the food was out of this world!! Never had such a good pulled beef burger and the food came pretty fast too. All at very decent prices. Only thing I would comment on is that it was a little too hot in there, they could have used AC on such a hot day. They had highchairs for babies. can’t wait to come back again for their food!!

Just A Twist owner, Shakur and I visited this gem and were so happy we did!!! The chicken gumbo was amazing!!!! We also had corn ribs, garden salad, a chicken fungi sandwich and wings! The conversation and friendliness of the staff and the fact it was Kosher were a bonus!!! We will be back!

This place served me a raw burger. At least they changed it, but the one that came out tasted horrible. Then they didn’t even put pickles on the burger after initially stating they are included and told me they ran out. So the guy in the front is not told basic things like what is in stock? Really disgusting burger even after it was cooked. When I told them about the pickles, they didn’t bother to give anything else after lying. I don’t think it would help the really bad taste of it anyway.
Update: pretty sure I have food poisoning. Your restaurant needs to be shut down, it is embarrassing. Stomach is hurting nonstop, been back and forth to the bathroom. Nauseous all day. I don’t know why my order specifically was done so carelessly
