This is a small Bay area business. The seafood is cooked to order, so expect to wait. The food is worth the wait, so full of flavor, and you can feel the love when you eat it. You have to try this place if you are in the area you will not be disappointed.

By far the best soul food. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE. I got the captains platter, fried shrimp, oysters, catfish, crab, with collard greens and mac and cheese. The seafood was fire and the sides slapped! 10/10.

The food was okay, not my favorite but it was decent. There is a extra fee of like 6 dollars if you use your credit or debit card so make sure you bring cash. I would stop by again if im ever in the area.

When I walked in I noticed it was very dark and stuffy. The place seemed very old. A girl came from the back, didn’t speak, didn’t acknowledge me at all. I asked her if they had the fried chicken and she just nodded. She was looked down at her phone the entire time. She was literally scrolling on her phone. I said I wanted fried chicken with yams and Mac. She said NOTHING. She was still strolling on her phone. She said “you said you wanted what?” I turned around and walked out. Every time I try to support a black owned business, they fail me each and every time. I won’t be coming back under any circumstances. They had not one customer in there. You’d think she’s be happy to serve me. Guess whatever was on her phone was more important.

All the food was wonderful! We got the garlic shrimp pasta, jerk chicken with cabbage and mac, and a seafood platter! The fries could of used some salt and the fried crab was hard to eat, but that’s just fried crab! I’ll definitely go back. I want to try the oxtail and conch!

We wanted to make sure to eat as local as possible while in Tampa. This establishment hit every mark—even better it is both woman and Black-owned—and the food was good as well.

I wanted some oysters and google sent me this location. They did not have a dozen oysters so we ordered the crab leg dinner. The crab legs were mushy and tasted old. The noodles were over cooked and had water and sauce mixture that was bland. The hush puppies were nasty. And we had to wait an hour for this. The potato’s were actually delicious. I would go elsewhere. It wasn’t worth it at all to me. Not the same from the old location.

Visited here during my visit to Tampa. I was on a quest to find some good fried southern seafood. I called prior to make sure, the lady on the phone told me to come on by. Sure enough, I got a Lyft to try it out. When I arrived I was greeted by the sweet lady I spoke with on the phone. I got the Fisherman’s Platter with the fried sea mullet, shrimp, oysters, and crab. The wait was not long. My platter came out fried golden brown and fresh. I also tried the blue velvet cake. I will defiantly be back to visit whenever I come back to Tampa.

I have to say we um I wanted turkey wings but they were out of turkey wings so we had settle for what they had,so we picked jerk chicken and the meatloaf and the wait time is the reason for the complaint because it was over and hour wait for the 2 dinners we ordered,so be prepared to wait because they don’t have enough help at this location and it’s over priced
