We make an hour drive to come down here. The food and service (Rhonda) are both worth it!! The atmosphere Is not super fancy but that’s ok because the food/service/prices are top notch. We made a special trip for the ribs and it was worth it (go early because they will run out). For $30 we got the full rack of ribs, cheeses potatoes, garlic toast, and salad bar! The full rack was more than enough for 2 people. On prior trips we’ve had the fish and Philly sandwich which were also good.

I stopped at the truck stop for the night but I decided to get a dinner at this place and I made the right decision. This place is old school.. their calendar was set to 1997.. and I really felt like it in a good way .. wish they had those big old TVs instead of new ones lol food is good, prices are good. 5*!

First time here and definitely won’t be the last! Other reviews were not wrong…glad it was Saturday, so we got to try the fall off the bone ribs!
They were so tender and delicious and the half rack was as big as some places” full rack! And we still have leftovers for tomorrow. Staff was so sweet and accommodating, that we felt like regulars! Local customers were friendly and welcoming and made us feel like locals, too! It’s a small town bar atmosphere with a dining room attached. If you don’t care about fancy and want fantastic food and service, this place doesn’t disappoint! We will definitely be back!

Smaller bar and grill. Huge minnesota vikings following here. Good place to watch football games. Great service, and great people here. The food was exceptional. It’s definitely worth a stop.

Stopped in during a long drive, got the ribs. They fall off the bone! The place was full, but somehow they got everyone to social distance and keep their masks on while not actively eating or drinking. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be back! Maybe on my next trip I can stop in…

We wanted to stop in Chester and visit the German Heritage Furniture store. We were hungry, and I believe this is the only place to eat in town. It is a bar, but the service was good, the food was hot, and the portions generous. For a hungry wayfaring stranger, it provides a nice repast.
