I could not wait to finish eating before I wrote this review. I got the catfish basket, 2 pieces and side. The cornbread was extra. The seasoning, the freshness, the cook was/is on point! So good. Now I’m going to finish eating but omg, this was a pleasure to eat. Definitely adding this to the rotation.

New restaurant located inside of the Urban Market. Met the Owner/Chef Derrick who was very friendly. Food was made to order! Overall everything flavorful and very good. I was happy that the Gumbo was made with chicken sausage instead of pork. Happy to have another food option in the area…Definitely will be back!

Pictures vs what I received! This was absolutely the worst experience/food I have ever received. Nothing matched and the salmon was completely raw. I ordered on DoorDash and was so excited to try some new spot! This is clearly a rip off and pisses me off to my core. That it forced me to write this review you could kill somebody with what was sent to me. Luckily I know how to cook so I had to finish cooking this meal. It’s a shame I was trying to enjoy my off day and have a good meal and this failed the mark by a looooooooooong shot. Idk maybe I should have ordered the catfish. But even the cobbler was trash I was looking forward to the crumbs! I didn’t get to enjoy anything

The food was great! I was able to taste test the gumbo before purchasing. Needless to say, I had the catfish basket, mac & cheese, gumbo and peach cobbler . It was also great meeting the owner! I will for sure come back and try other items on the menu.

Couldn’t resist the aroma! Associate was really welcoming and suggested their turkey leg so happily ordered one. The flavoring didn’t disappoint and the meat melted off the bone. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Would definitely recommend popping in!

As a Louisiana woman , the food they have posted on DoorDash is nothing compared to what it looks like in person . I’m not sure who idea was on the dirty rice but that dirty rice was so mushy and soggy , don’t even feel as if I was chewing rice you could literally just swallow it , the gumbo I give that a 5/10 , the salmon dinner is nothing compared to what it shows on DoorDash especially the Mac and cheese. I wanted to branch out on food but it’s safe to say this my first and last time ever ordering here. I guess in Louisiana we expect different flavors especially when you calling your business Cajun .
Update: I believe they take other photos that go viral on the internet and post it as it’s their work . How you advertise something so beautiful like this and when I receive it , it’s a plate of slop . LOOK AT THE PHOTS THATS ADVERTISED COMPARED TO WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET . My salmon dinner nor my gumbo LOOK NOTHING LIKE WHAT THEY ADVERTISE ! That is other people work that go viral on Facebook or instagram and they just use to reel customers in. ESPECIALLY THAT MAC AND CHEESE BOY YOU KNOW IM PISSED ! 68$ went in the trash but DoorDash was able to refund me $22. I guess that’s better than nothing .

Had a taste for some good La. cooking and heard about this 2nd location in Las Colinas and decided to stop on by. There was so much to choose from and it was hard to decide! Ordered the chicken wing basket, meat pie basket, an order of boudin balls and the peach cobbler for dessert. The food did not disappoint!! Everything was hot and fresh and devoured in minutes! The owner’s hospitality was outstanding! This establishment is highly recommended! And they cater too!! Go check them out!!

I ordered catered mac & cheese for my workplace Thanksgiving potluck, and it was a huge hit—everyone loved it and there wasn’t a single bite left. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, even working with my pickup time, which made everything so smooth. The mac was amazing, and I’ll definitely be trying more of the menu. Highly recommend!
