We ordered two pâté there and it took forever for them to bring out the food. I thought that because it took forever the pâté would come out fresh and hot . That was not the case. They were cold and sees like they were made way prior to us ordering them. The hot dogs inside the patties were cold. The only decent thing that the Akra. First and last time.

I am not at all satisfied with the food. The rice wasn’t good, the turkey wasn’t fresh, and neither was the pikliz pepper. I expected much better because I was really hungry and wanted to eat this food. I advise you to do better next time; the presentation and service were not pleasant.

i ordered food on uber since i have been having car trouble i received the food in good timing uber was great but this food looks to have been made hours ago the plantain is very old tomatoes withered along with lettuce i called up the restaurant to advise and what can be done they argued that the food was fresh but i am a chef of 8 years and i know when food is not fresh and i make ppls rains all the time they aren’t supposed to be dark brown and soft and bendy like that it is really poor customer service i will never order or go to this rude and poorly managed establishment they need some customer service training or something they are beyond rude and u professional! Everything was simply alright. They have reasonable prices and good portions. Nothing extravagant and in terms of flavor, there are places in a mile radius that are better. I’d only go back if my go to is not available, but overall, nothing special. I’m not of the culture so there are those more qualified, but compared to other similar spots, this one is not as good. Solid overall.

I really don’t know where to begin. I’m honestly being generous with the rating. Please do better as a fellow Haitian this is a cry for help not a put you down review. Mushroom rice tastes like mint—Why?? They don’t serve black bean sauce anymore the brown one here doesn’t even taste good. The white rice is honestly mediocre but I’ll give it a pass. The fried pork is hard as a rock- no flavor just the aroma from the onions that they spread on top. I don’t know what happened to this place. This place use to be good when they first opened and they used to have events for such a big place no well lit area…honestly I can go on an on. No matter how much I tell myself to give them another chance I’m literally done. I wish them all the best and hopefully the owner looks at my review and makes some changes. This is not a good look for Haitians in the area.

The Fried Pork w/Black Rice & Pikliz. There were so many flavors to this dish that my taste buds had an explosive time with each bite.
