This has been my new favorite place to recommend meeting friends for dinner! Both times, we were sat fairly quickly despite them being quite busy.
The service is quick and good. I feel like some of the food items are amazing and some are just average. I really enjoyed the pork cutlet and the tornado omelette rice. The sushi isn’t the best I’ve had but it’s not fair to compare it to places that only serve sushi/sashimi. The way they serve their beer is ingenious and keeps it cold the entire time! It’s amazing!
The atmosphere is nice for a fun dinner, drinks, or just hanging out!
I love going to their happy hour , even though, I think they only have drinks and not food. But, their food prices aren’t too bad! I am sad because I heard they are getting rid of their happy hour and raising menu items– which I felt super sad about and gave minus one star for

We went for dinner and had a good experience. The chicken katsu curry was the best dish we ordered. Sushi was fresh and good too.

We’ve been to Lap No.1 maybe three times since around COVID, and our experiences have been pretty hit or miss. The food quality and taste aren’t always consistent. This time, I ordered the Salmon Lover combo, which I’ve had before and really enjoyed, but unfortunately it didn’t taste as good as I remembered. The rice was very moist, so the sushi kept falling apart when I picked it up with chopsticks, and the salmon didn’t seem as fresh this time either.
That said, the server was nice and attentive, which we appreciated. I would still be open to coming back to try other dishes on the menu and hope the food will be better next time.

A few months ago, I dined at this restaurant with my family and we had a great time. A friend had recommended it for Asian food, and we were pleased to see that there were many options on the menu. The food we ordered was good, but the standout dish was the Tornado Omurice – rice with egg on top. The egg had a silky, creamy texture that paired perfectly with the sauce and rice. The deep-fried roll was okay but nothing noteworthy, and the ramen was decent but not exceptional in terms of taste or quality. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the service was generally good.

Amazing weekday night dinner! They only had 1 sushi chef who was bombarded with many sushi orders but nevertheless he did an amazing job on all our orders! All 3 rolls we ordered were sooo aesthetic and delicious. We ordered the Dynamite, Treasure Hunter and Pocahontas rolls. We also ordered a shrimp potato from the appetizers and they were very delicious as well. We will definitely be back again soon!

The food is an amazing fusion as I have never seen. Every plate is very flavorful. The combinations are unexpected but pleasant. I love this place, have been there many times and recommend it. The atmosphere is also very nice. It has different ambiences where you can enjoy different vibes(bar & sitting down area).

Pretty good spot! I’ve been here twice already and never had to wait for a table. The ambience is nice and there’s a good amount of seating. Prices are a bit more expensive than other typical Asian places but serving sizes make up for it.

First you come in and you’re greeted by a hostess with such a kind smile! She had a mask on but you could see her smile through her eyes!
You’re seated and you’re given some menus and space to explore the huge menu with noodles, sushi, pasta, rice dishes, etc. the waitress now comes over with again such a kind smile and so eager to help you navigate between choices.
The food came out in the matter of 5-10 mins of ordering.
What??? So fast? Must taste terrible?? Hell to the no!
Your food comes hot and fresh. Steamy pasta, delicious omirice, and deliciously fresh sushi.
Seriously, on my trip from Boston, to NYC, to Philly, and then to NOVA, I’m so happy to stopped by this place because I had terrible food on my trip that just made my trip so sad.
I’m a restaurant owner of 6 locations and this place made me so impressed. This gem was truly the Christmas miracle I was looking for! Please please support this restaurant!

The food was so delicious so that we ate a lot even though we were full.
We were very satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. It was a bit pricey, but I think it was worth it. The atmosphere inside the store was also nice. The staffs were all friendly and explained the menu very well. I definitely want to come back.
