Great nachos packed with meat.
Shrimp cocktail is absolutely delicious.
I’ve been shopping and eating here for years now but recently the quality of their merchandise as well as butcher staff has gone downhill. I bought some Oaxaca cheese today (01-31-24) against my better judgement of a previous experience and upon opening it at home I found it to be dry and moldy. I have witnessed the butchers use the same gloves to handle cheese and raw meats before and have never seen them wash their hands before. The drink coolers must have broken down as when they are opened you are engulfed in a most rancid smell. I should’ve known better than to shop there again. I’ve attached some images.
Excellent salsas and sauces on the salsa bar. Even roasted jalapenos!
Food is tasty and salsa bar was great, lots of spicy. But the ambience and customer service was mediocre and they serve the food in styrofoam “to go” containers. Not sure I’m coming back except for a quick takeout order when dire.
Their portion sizes are big, so keep that in mind before ordering. Especially Nachos. I was wondering why it costed me so much, but I realized it after opening it.
That being said: steak burrito and chip and salsa was $17. No drink included. The salsa was more of a mole, but the side bar was very fresh and had great sauces.
Still 17 bucks. It’s a good place to try though. Atleast go through the store.
