Living my whole life in the NYC metro area, loving great food, I have had my fair share of great Italian food. Having great food is passion for me, so much so I studied Restaurant Management at Johnson & Wales and had my own food establishment. This trip to La Violetta was my fourth. Like a good wine it gets better with time. The atmosphere is good and the service staff and food is even better. The caring and sharing is abundantly clear. The food was amazing. So fresh and full of flavor, I can still taste it as I write from enjoying it last night. The flat bread pizza was incredibly light and the presentation on a long plank was something to behold and inhale. We did. All of the Pasta dishes were incredibly different, Alden te and popped with flavor. We ate very well……So should you. ❤️

This is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in sarasota. Every single dish was delicious and the pasta is so fresh. The atmosphere is cozy, charming, and romantic. The staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. We can’t wait to eat here again!

As someone from NYC with very high standards for Italian food, I can honestly say this place impressed me. The food was very, very good — possibly one of my best dining experiences so far in Sarasota. The pasta was outstanding, clearly homemade in-house, and cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere was warm and cozy, which made the whole experience even better. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff remained very professional, and the service was excellent from start to finish.
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Italian food, this spot is definitely worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be back.

This is the Best restaurant we have been to in Florida. Food is amazing, authentic Italian cuisine. Our server Frederico was excellent, very knowledgeable and helped us choose a fabulous bottle of wine. The restaurant had a comfortable friendly atmosphere. From the hostess to the assisting staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I give it a five star for quality food prepared to perfection!

The first thing I should mention about this restaurant is how beautifully decorated it is and how spectacular the atmosphere is. The service was very good and there were good recommendations. Regarding the food, we thought that some dishes were very tasty and others average, but overall they were very good. They have a good selection of wines to choose from.

I am almost hesitant to write this review because this place is so fantastic and right around the corner from my house. I don’t want it to get to the point where I can’t get in! I had my second dinner there last night and it was phenomenal just as was the first. Everything is given such tremendous care and the chef will often send out little appetizers Complements of the chef. Very creative, very inspired and absolutely delightful dining experience with a super friendly accommodating staff. If you sit at the bar, you can actually watch them making the fresh pasta through the glass. This place is world class tucked away in a small shopping . Tremendous Family owned small business.
