I’m a bit late, we went on January 6th. The restaurant did an impeccable job. Dwight Gooden came there for an event a while back and my parents went. They loved it and had the best time. My mom wanted to go again for her birthday. I made a reservation and asked if they could do something special for her birthday. Boy, did they deliver!
The service was impeccable, it was family style, and the food was great. Presentation was fantastic and the staff helped with serving the food. They surprised us with cannolis and one with a candle in it for mom’s birthday. You guys made her night so special, thank you so much! We will be back again!

Had a last minute dinner for 25 after a wake/funeral – from the first phone call, until the minute we walked out – first-class all the way. The food was incredible, the servers were all cheerful, friendly and attentive. Frank Jr, saw to every single piece of the puzzle and was fantastic the entire way – absolutely recommend this place – will be back

We went for Christmas Eve
And on menu and on line and in restaurant said if you have any food allergies to please let them know. I have many food allergies And asked for something simple to be made up. And they told me that they could not accommodate me and that it was a holiday and they do everything restaurant style meanwhile all over the menu it says if you have an allergy to food to let them know. We had a very early reservation. They had no garlic bread and no red roasted peppers they said they ran out. I can understand this, but to have an early Christmas Eve reservation and run out of certain food and also not accommodating a person that has food. Allergies is not very reputable place. I went with a large group of people and was also told that they could only order a restaurant style, but not individual meals which they should’ve told us when booking the reservation and or had on their menus, only family style on holidays. Needless to say, it was very upsetting that they couldn’t accommodate me and if we would’ve known this sooner, we would’ve never ever booked a reservation there and went to eat if we weren’t with a big party we would have walked out. Needless to say, I got four little plain grilled chicken cutlets and the price was over $30. Very sad on their part as a restaurant, not accommodating people who have food allergies especially when it’s all over their menus and right on top of their menu. The best one I had asked for cheese and he said no, we can’t do that. He told me he was going to have the manager come out then they came back to tell me that the manager was too busy. Horrible experience, especially on a holiday.

I must say to see the owner spend most of his time in the kitchen to cook & to supervise the kitchen is impressive, to be sure your food is cooked to perfection is a rear thing to see in other restaurants. Love the clams in the picture. I ask for the largest cherrystones that they have. A lot of great dishes on the menu and on the specials board. Portions are family style and large. Enjoy!

Went there on Saturday the 18th of October. For my daughters 25th bday. We booked a table for 8 at 5 pm. A gigantic party of 16 to 20 ppl waltzed in and they crammed them right behind our table. They had about 8 kids who were the most rudest group. Their parents were nasty and kept making us move our chairs in so they could keep passing by. At one point a boy crawled under where my friend was sitting. She had to tell him to get up which the father didn’t care for. They were such a rude family with no parenting skills. I told the girl as we left that the kids were banging their toys and cups on the table she said ..sorry. I called the next day to talk to an owner or manager. Spoke to frank who told me its a busy Saturday night. He did nothing and didnt care that our party was ruined. We dropped a large amount of cash there that night and we’ve been going there for dinners many years. I wanted frank to at least offer an apology and give some type of credit because of the horrible way they handled our issue.
Needless to say they lost a customer and all of the people I know will not be going. Not a good business practice.

We had the most delicious dinner here. The atmosphere is very chill and extremely welcoming. The wine list is versatile and the food is just amazing, very clean, well balanced and not overly sauced. The pumpkin ravioli was just delicious. I highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

My favorite Italian restaurant on the Island. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the food is to die for! Frank, the owner and chef, is an absolute culinary magician. You must try the La Vallini sauce, which comes with the fried Calamari.
I would strongly recommend that you also try the chicken wings (dry seasoned to perfection), the seafood salad, the seafood croquettas, the Veal Scaparellla, and Veal Milanesa. The Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Marsala are also very solid.

Great old school atmosphere and delicious Food! Lucas was our server he was so nice and very helpful in selections regarding the food & family style portions. We Will be back to try some more dishes! The chicken parm was generously portioned and very tender..good dish, we added and extra cutlet but we’re too full to eat it all. The vodka sauce is simply amazing! It’s done right, Al Dente too..Try it with penne you will not be disappointed. A++++++++
