Food was fine, however the rest not so much.
Very crowded so you feel like sardines in a tin can. Service was very inattentive, forgot several orders, barely visited our big table so we could not order drinks after the first round (ours came ~20 minutes after everyone else and after the food).and finally, 30 minutes after we cancelled our order for dessert, as we were preparing to leave and trying to pay, they brought our dessert. And that was only a coffee and a small glass of liquor, so nothing difficult or time consuming for the kitchen.
Tldr: food was ok, but too expensive for the result. Rest is quite bad. Will not go again and do not recommend

Direct at Durlach train Station one finds this lovely little Oasis of Italian cuisine. Fresh fisch or different Types of fresh pasta are always available. My Favoriten is the pasta dinished directly with some oil inside the parmiggiano.

Once I was lucky to try the food in La Villetta. In Russia Italian cuisine is considered to be “highly sophisticated” and I can confirm this belief! I tried Vitello Tonnato and Carpaccio and I can for sure include them in my list of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. Not only the food impressed me, but also the service. The people working there are very friendly and competent, and they are ready to consult you according the menu/ingredients etc. in any time. I advice everyone to visit La Villetta, and I assess it 10 out of 10!
