I ordered dinner for my wife and requested a 2-enchilada plate along with a taco plate. When I got home, I realized they rang it up as a 1-enchilada plate instead. After a long day at work, my wife was understandably upset.

I called to see if I could pay the difference and come pick up the missing enchilada. Instead, they tried to charge me full price for an à la carte enchilada, plus an extra $1 for green sauce, totaling $6—even though the difference between a 1- and 2-enchilada plate is only $1.

I politely explained that this was a simple mistake and asked for a little empathy and good customer service. The employee refused, had a bad attitude, and showed no willingness to help. I asked to speak to a manager and again suggested the easy fix—just let me pay the difference and keep a customer happy—but they didn’t care at all.

This could have been resolved in seconds, but instead it turned into a frustrating experience with zero customer service. Especially during the holidays, a little kindness goes a long way. Sadly, that was missing here.

Horrible service. I do not recommend.

My First time visiting this location. My friend who has been coming here for years recommend it.
Upon arrival, this restaurant has been open for a very long time. I don’t know how I missed it since I used to live near.
The older waitress was very polite and helpful. Very nice attitude. I had Chicken with Mole. It’s hard to find good mole. Dinner came with Albondigas soup. Delicious.
Mole was a bit off. Even th waitress admitted was not a dense and a bit lighter in color.
Not bad but this Mole was not a Mole.
Will come back again. The cook has been here for over 40 years. So, give another try. We all have bad days

This place was SO good. Really good prices, too. I got the classic chicken enchiladas and looooooved them. The building is super cold, though, and it wasn’t very comfy sitting there longer than we ate our food. Parking is okay- it’s in the back and not many stalls but the restaurant itself is smaller so it works.

Walked in excited to try this place and left feeling like I was an inconvenience instead of a customer. From the moment we ordered, the attitude was cold and rushed, like we were bothering them by being there.

When our food came out, it was clear it had been sitting for a while. Cold tortillas, dried-out meat, and zero care in presentation. When I politely mentioned it, I was met with eye rolls and a dismissive response instead of an apology or offer to fix it.

Customer service makes or breaks a restaurant, and this place clearly doesn’t care. Mistakes happen — it’s how you handle them that matters. Treating people like they’re just another transaction isn’t it.

Especially during the holidays, you’d think basic kindness would be standard. Unfortunately, that was missing here.

Been having lunch here once or twice a month for over 10 years. It’s the best Mexican food in the area. The carne asada plate was s crazy good. The staff is super nice.

This is a small neighborhood Hispanic restaurant. The food is fresh and flavorful. The service was fast and courteous. The margaritas were delicious. There is a lot of food. There is enough to share or take home. Parking is in the rear of the restaurant and north of the restaurant. There is also street parking. The decor is of wooden panels and Hispanic items. The is a TV with sports playing and great late 80’s and 90’s music playing.

Really good chips and salsa! We asked for another bowl lol. The steak picado was seasoned well and the taste was on point. The micheladas were ok. The Chile relleno we got had more batter than Chile or relleno, don’t get me wrong it tastes good but wish it had less batter. Overall this place is great, lots of items on the menu, great prices, and fast service. We’ll be back!

Lavilla‘s restaurant is amazing. We’ve been going there for ever over 15 years. The food has never changed. It’s always good. The staff there is amazing the girls there are so nice and so sweet. They’re always coming to the table checking up on us. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody Lavilla is always been a five star to me love that food comes to the table piping hot and everything there is good from the chips and salsa when you start to the main course to those amazing salads, simple little salad, but they’re so good so yes I would recommend this billion times and I can’t stress enough how nice all the girls there are that take care of the restaurant

Went and had some lunch today at this place, I’ve been hearing about from friends. The chips, salsa and bean dip to start was so good, I almost filled up on it. I had the shredded beef enchiladas with rice and beans. It was DELICIOUS! The food was hot and fresh and our service was excellent! Always there with the refills of drinks and salsa/chips. The place was really busy, as you can imagine, on a Sunday afternoon, but our server stayed cool under pressure. Thank you Pinky, for the great service and great food!
