I recently visited this place as opposed to going to my usual I went with my wife and we also had some takeout we were greeted quickly and we sat up first available table it was rather crowded there was people waiting for a takeout and people outside waiting and all the tables were full but we sat down quickly and someone quickly approached us we gave him our drinks and our order at the same time and enjoyed chips and salsa for free I got the taco plate and my wife got that taco enchilada plate everything tasted great and we’re very happy we’ve been here before and we’ll come back again and we appreciate everything food is good thank you

Let’s get this right, no hard feelings. My review is on the food. This is not an authentic Ranchera enchilada. The chicken feels soggy and has not so much of a taste. The beef it’s OK i wouldn’t recommend it ither. The food is pricey paid $51 for 3 enchiladas, rice and beans, and asada nachos. If you are looking for a 100% Authentic Restaurant this one is far from it. Service is Great, place is clean. I came here because of the reviews and I was very disappointed. This should tell you everything, their salsa is Tapatio lol.

Unfortunately, we have walked through these doors for the last time. Tonight, my wife and I walked into the restaurant at 7:45 and were told the restaurant was closed. The open sign was on, the music playing outside and the posted hours stated the restaurant was open until 8pm. We were told by the staff, the owner told them to close down. It’s not the first time this has happened. The customer service level over the past few years has declined dramatically. We’ve been coming to the restaurant since the mid-nineties, so we are pretty good judges on the service.

La Villa Kitchen is a great neighborhood restaurant. Our server was polite and very attentive. We did not have to wait for a table. The food is reasonably priced. The Carne asada tacos with green sauce were excellent.

The chips were so crunchy and good. I got enchilada rancheros with beef. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Definitely will be back for more

Best crowd ever! An awesome place to chill and eat! Classic socal mexican fare, well prepared and delicious! Great people work here, always a pleasure to stop in even for a to-go order. Very welcoming to all, and a truly enjoyable experience, easy parking in big ol’ Vons shopping center away from busy hustle and bustle so you can relax, take your time and enjoy yourself. Best burrito I have had to date!

Review is solely based on food only. The food is a very Americanized version of Mexican food. It sucks! Save yourself the money and go to the other 1,000 Mexican restaurants nearby. You’ll thank me.
