I popped in to buy the bread that is stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeño. I was disappointed they didn’t have the little elotitos. Idk what they are officially called. Food was good and the conchas looked fresh.

Open early! They are open early and the bread is fresh – no cemitas or elotes here. They also have bolillo with beans and salsa, bolillo with ham and cheese if you need a breakfast on the go. Basic coffee and convenience items available too. Not sure if it’s as good as other bakeries (el pavo, la mascota) but it’s local and fresh. You decide!

I’ve been eating pan dulce all my life…. the stuff you get at this place is THE ABSOLUTE BEST I’ve ever had, without a doubt. Very well made, super well crafted AND DELICIOUS. We sampled out of our box the entire day, and it tasted fresh and delicious throughout the day. Incredible. I understand that if you show up at the right time of morning, you can get your items warm, right out of the oven!!!! That experience must be unreal…. La Villa Bakery is my place now for pan dulce. Parties, get togethers, holidays…. I’ll be making my pit stop at La Villa Bakery from now on!!!!! You gotta try it!!!! : )

I’m picky when it comes to conchas, but recently my husband stopped by since they’re closer than Vallarta and Gonzales Northgate. I was really impressed not only with the conchas but the other “pan” we bought. I spoke with the lady at the register and she told me that they recently bought the bakery and brought with them a baker. I’m only giving them 4 stars because my husband suggested we should hold off on the 5 until he tries the “bolillos” with cream cheese and jalapenos.
