I had been wanting to eat at La Viejona since I had first seen a post come across my IG account.
They have recently had to relocate to the N. Nellis Rd. location.
I love mariscos and as this was my first time here I met La Viejona (the only name she is known by).
She was very welcoming and recommended the Yochi Tostada. This is a mixed tostada with steamed and chilled octopus, aguachile-style shrimp, chopped cucumber and red onion with their house made sauce. I asked for mine spicy and it did not disappoint!!
I also had a shrimp taco with a healthy portion of breaded and fried shrimp, chopped tomatoes, red & green cabbage, and crema in a lightly fried corn tortilla. Check out her IG page and give this authentic food a try!!
