My in laws, gf and I came for Valentines. It took them 30 min to come take our order and only did because I asked them to. It wasn’t even the server, it was the host taking the order on her phone.
When we asked her what the house salad had in it she couldn’t provide us with an answer and when we asked what type of juices they had she couldn’t tell us either. Make it make sense.
They didn’t even bring us water until I asked for it. We ordered croquetas which were fine but very pricey for the portion size. We got 1 filet mignon, 2 ribeyes, and 1 Diana Milanesa.
First they forgot three of our sides and I had to stand up and go ask for them cuz nobody came to check on us. All the dishes were supposed to be medium well but we got all extremely rare. We send the filet mignon back and they just brought a very burn filet on the outside but still raw on the inside.
When I told a young guy that works there as a server he told me it was the kitchen not him and I told him I know but who else am I supposed to tell.
There was another guy acting as busboy but wasn’t even in uniform he just looked like a friend or relative supporting the staff. The guy dropped one of the sides on the table and then dropped my dirty silverware on top of me.
You could see from the sitting area a blonde lady in the kitchen preparing the dishes with her hair down, not hairnet or anything so no very sanitary if you ask me.
I asked for the check and they still took their sweet time to bring it and when they did they charged me for the Milanese which is fine cuz I did eat half of it but they charged one of the other dishes which was completely there.
I am very frustrated with this place and I basically had to pay 130 dollars just to leave hungry and very upset.
The staff is so unprofessional and the food so sucky and poorly prepared that I have honestly had better experiences going to McDonalds or any other fast food place.
They should close down imo.
I got the beef carpaccio, croquetas, prosciutto and burrata and a pizza for my son.
Carpaccio: lathered in a lemon sauce that completely masked the taste of the carpaccio. Lemon sauce was good, but way too much.
Croquetas: Came in a marinara soup – same problem as the carpaccio – could barely taste the croquetas. Just had a mouth full of marinara sauce.
Prosciutto + Burrata: not bad, but not impressive. Nice presentation, but nothing special.
My sons flatbread pizza: soggy
Service: restaurant was empty for a Friday night – no one checked on us or bothered to refill our water.
Atmosphere: it was fine, but decor is definitely cheesy.
I knew I shouldn’t have eaten here, but my son really wanted a pizza, so I gave in. I’ll be making my way over to Fogo de chao to wash down the terrible experience with some cocktails.
Do not recommend at all.
A quick tip to the owner/manager consider NOT including 18% gratuity and maybe your service will improve. (Party size 2 adults and a 6 yrs old) I am catering business owner and I understand the importance of tipping the staff when they deserve it. Gratuity has to be earned…
THE FOOD:
Empanadas (Chicken and Beef) were not good as the meat could have been better seasoned.
The Milanesa Margarita was good.
The Beef Carpaccio was average.
The “flat bread” (which is actually a pizza) for our daughter in my opinion was a disaster. She’s 6 and she liked it but she also loves the “Pizza Lunchables” cold out of the refrigerator. This place isn’t cheap at least have a decent pizza.
