Went for the Wine Tasting experience. Amazing. Victor is extremely passionate and knowledgeable of European wines and trends. He spoke at length about the process of making wine and the importance of selecting small, locally owned wineries vs medium to large companies. Highly recommend! We tried 6 different wines all hand picked and curated to reflect Spanish and Portuguese culture, trends, and local wines. The charcuterie board was delicious but I wish there was a menu to select the cheeses, meats and look at prices. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Special place, amazing atmosphere. great, great wine with the best quality, cheese, and tablas/chesse top-notch. Victor will take care of you. You will definitely have a great and relaxed time. We were a couple, and we had a bottle of wine recommended by Victor, and he made sure that we and everyone there was having a good time. This is a spot that you definitely need to try. We do not have this in Tampa. This is for sure a hidden gem.

The wine and charcuterie were enjoyable, but the service ruined our experience. Our server, who we believe was the owner, was rude and dismissive when helping us choose a wine, criticizing how we described our preferences. When we asked if they offered wine flights, he responded sarcastically that “flights are so 2005.” He also never told us the name or details of the wine we were served.
After we complimented the wine and charcuterie, he told us “don’t be afraid to smile more,” which was an necessary comment and made us uncomfortable. While the food and wine were enjoyable, the service was unwelcoming and inappropriate. We will not be returning and would not recommend this place based on service alone.

We were there for a tasting. The owner’s knowledge and charisma are awesome. Food is mainly charcuterie type and very fresh, delicious meats and cheeses. Spanish wines are the main theme. Hidden gem.

Tucked away at the back of a plaza on N. Dale Mabry, it is easy to miss. You quickly notice their rigorous control over the quality of the wine and food ingredients. Specializing in Vermouths, Sherry, Paella Products, Tapas and unique quality wines, La Vid is a hidden gem waiting for discovery. Victor is your source for knowledge, products and recommendations. They have a nice assortment of food products to sample and use at your next party. Highly Recommend.
