While looking for a late-night bite, we came across La Victoria. The restaurant was spotless, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. I ordered plain asada tacos, and they did not disappoint the meat was flavorful, simple, and perfectly seasoned. The green salsa was delicious and added a nice kick. The chips were different from what I expected more like bagged chips than freshly made ones. Overall, I wouldn’t cross this spot off my list for a quick and satisfying bite.

Great spot for a cantina vibe. Quick service. I was super hungry and got the super nachos, I thought it was really great with the steak – good rec from the staff. I wanted sides but this place didn’t have any. I wasn’t a fan of the round store bought nachos though. My friend also got a taco and she didn’t even eat it cause she said it was great so not sure about that. Did the job tho for a hungry girl

Burritos are all flour tortilla, barely any filling inside. I asked them to remaxk my burrito and they refused and they told me the cooks are trained to make them like this. Never coming back after 20 years being a loyal customer.

Nice looking place but the food was nasty. Had one bite of the tacos and threw them out. They provided double raw (not even warm) flour tortillas. The torta was meh to say the least.

La Vics is always a hit or miss for me, so I always go with low expectations but this last time was a hit. Went around 8 pm on a Fri and it was not busy at all. Ordered 3 regular tacos (carne asada, al pastor, lengua) for $5 each, $7 for lengua, which seemed pricey at first but these tacos are a good size and loaded with meat. Not the typical street tacos fillings since it’s meat, salsa, and pinto beans. 2 layers of medium sized tortilla. Asked for no added salt and none were salty. The meats were all cooked and flavored well. Lengua did not look like the usual form, more like shredded, but taste was on point. They provide bottles of green and orange sauce upon request. Orange sauce is fire as usual, with a slight kick of spice. There are 2 restrooms for customers only. Pay at counter and seat yourself. Water is provided only until midnight. I’ll take my chances again and go back sometime

Quite literally the worst one in San Jose. Try other locations pls. The orange sauce is so watered down here. Carnitas dried and salty!!

Came here for lunch with a friend. While the food was not the worst, the quality wasn’t the best. I had enchiladas and it felt almost like plastic and it was frozen. Their orange sauce is good but that is about it.

The burritos are still so full of flavor, which i love. I’m glad that after my college years the food has remained flavorful. There is definitely a good serving size for the amount you pay .

The most crowded of the La Vics but a nice to go after spending an evening in downtown due to great location! Always a great place to sneak in a quesadilla before dinner! Very affordable.
I wish they started serving puppachinos though. I think it would be good for business.
