La Vernia’s Den features a full service dinning room, and a huge patio for outdoor fun , a 5000 square foot AstroTurf outdoor play area for kids, bandstand, and 2 full bars. Focusing on food, fun, friends, and family. LaVernia’s Den is centered around two 300 year old massive oak trees that cover the patio. On the patio or inside the restaurant itself, patrons can enjoy classic American food while listening to local bands perform. Of particular pride are our weekend breakfast options, House made Bloody Mary’s, Greek Gyros and Pitas, made to order burgers, chicken wings and boneless, tender chicken fried steak, awesome salads, and fried fish! Cold Iced tea, Pepsi products, 14 draft beers, wine, and full bar liquor options.

It’s a place I used to love. We used to go there to have a good time, eat delicious food, and spend time with friends. But the last time we went, the woman who took our order treated us badly. She seemed uncomfortable serving us, and since I was with a large group of family members, she forgot to give me my pager, and we struggled to get our order complete. Today, I decided to give it another chance since we have visitors from another country, and again, the same woman served us. She mocked us to our faces because my family members speak Spanish and didn’t understand the menu well. I asked her if she was laughing at us. She has Latin features, and I know she speaks Spanish, but she refused to help us and kept laughing, along with the young man at the entrance. I think it’s a huge lack of respect. I never thought such a nice and pleasant place would have such inhospitable and rude staff.

Great customer service and good food. Wangs were tender and had plenty of flavor and my fried okra was great. Wife said the philly cheese steak was delicious as well. Our waitress did a great job and all the employees seemed very nice. We will return to try more things out and see a band

Hometown cooking was wonderful. The young man Patton was awesome, so attentive. Only drawback was the hostess that had an attitude and threw tue menus on the table after I asked if we could have a another table and walked away. Not sure why she reacted like that. Maybe she had a long day.

My niece had her nursing school graduation celebration there, it was absolutely wonderful. From the manager to the server—every single person was helpful, friendly, and professional. The venue was clean, well appointed, and prepared for any type of weather. We were allowed in early to decorate, the food was set up to our specifications and the server came thru often to make sure the drinks were flowing and the food was hot. I highly recommend The Den for any family, work, or church event.

So glad we stopped here! It was a beautiful spot with outdoor seating under trees, so pretty. The service from the hostess was great, there was a play area for kids which could use some more options for play but my kid loved it, and food was really good! Even the kids meal cheese pizza, which is always a hit or miss. We’ll definitely be back next time we pass through.

We stopped coming to the Den quite a while ago due to the food tasting like frozen pre-packaged stuff, and the service was hit or miss. Knowing that things change, we decided to come back and let me tell you, the food was amazing! You can definitely tell the kitchen staff and chef are on point, and whoever came up with the queso fries needs to be given sainthood. The service was INCREDIBLE, when I say you want for nothing, I mean it!! Brooke took amazing care of us, drinks never needed refills, questions were answered, and it was all with the brightest smile. Come in, order food, grab you a Rum Hurricane and sit in Brooke’s section and have a great night
