To be honest, this is a review that is a reflection of the time it takes to get food here. The food is pretty good – and better than most in the area for Mexican. The service staff are kind and personable. They are happy to help, and will work hard to solve any issue. At the same time, the food can take forever. This time I order a beer and a burrito. I am here 25 minutes later in a room with about 15 people seated. Still no burrito and nobody has come to talk to me. This has been all too typical. In my experience – a burrito should be a quick prep and at the table quickly. That’s often why it’s ordered. This isn’t a fine dining restaurant – but the wait exceeds a fine finding experience.

I do keep coming here – but will order for takeout from now on. Will be leaving with my order to go anyways – once it arrives.

I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Best Horchata on the East Coast, and their tacos are dynamite! You really can’t go wrong here.

This restaurant is beautiful. Amazing service and atmosphere! I’ve been here many times and will continue to go. The food is homemade, hardy and filling. We ordered a chicken, rice, and bean burrito, chicken quesadilla with a side of rice and shrimp tacos to try out along with homemade lemonade. The food was fabulous but out of all of that my favorite was the shrimp tacos Just writing this review has my mouth watering

This new location in Amherst has a new bartender and he is a warm and wonderful person. I was traveling solo on my birthday and he greatly enhanced my visit. He is a Treasure of a guy, with perfect old fashioned manners and always giving excellent customer service. He is focused and dedicated. He made me feel very comfortable as a lone female diner. His affect and personality is totally thoughtful and completely genuine. What a pleasure to talk with him. I wish he was my neighbor! Thank you, Ray.

Since trying the one in Amhurst I decided to get take away. I got the nachos and decided on trying the fish tacos.

The nachos were a bit burnt but hit the spot, while the first tacos looked impressive they were not the best. The fish was dry and chewy. The large amount of toppings trying to make up for that fact perhaps. The best fish tacos I ever had are still the ones in San Diego.

I also must have missed the rush, as the place was clean the salsa bar was almost completely empty. I had to choose my (and everyone else’s) least favorite sauces.

This location also has inside and outside seating.

I’ve eaten here probably about 100 times. Slow nights, busy nights, weeknights and weekends. Unparalleled food quality and taste, friendly service, and a great vibe. These folks deserve their roses for working so hard, this is a community pillar for a good reason!

Consistently good. Great burritos and fish tacos. I go every time I drive through Northampton. They have a great salsa selection. The kitchen is fast. I’ve been back more times than I can count and it has been good every time.

Meh. We were at this end of Main Street, were hungry, had time to kill, so might as well check it out.

So we start out with the cashier hustling us to make an order. Umm, ma’am, if you see us both still staring at the overhead menu blackboard, that just might be a signal that we’re not yet ready to order. Since the next customers came in ten minutes later, it’s not as if we’re holding anyone up, are we?

Anyway, we were served fast enough once we did decide, ample portions, and the “fast” became obvious when our burritos were lukewarm: plainly pre-prepared items popped in a microwave. They charged a high price for warmed-over TexMex fast food (although, to the degree I’m inclined to defend them, most restaurants in this town charge extremely inflated prices): their competitor down the street charges two-thirds as much for a slightly larger burrito.

The taste was inoffensive; nothing much better to say than that. Perhaps LV’s customers prefer bland. The food made neither one of us sick and filled our bellies. I suppose it could’ve been worse.

Honestly, though, beyond a TV screen on the wall, a marginally clean bathroom, and a blackboard menu done in colorful chalk, I can’t see much reason beyond utter sloth to choose here rather than the four minute walk it’d take me to get to Bueno Y Sano.

Ordered the special birria tacos. They were delicious! I also got a watermelon margarita which was pretty good. Gluten free options were labeled on the menu with a red diamond which I didn’t see until after I ordered. Vegetarian options were also easily available. Lots of options- very big menu!

So I have been a customer here for a spell, I usually get the nachos but I went with something different, and was severely dissapointed. I got the fish tacos and ad tou can see, my taco is more of cabbage salad in a tortilla.
I hope the managers don’t mistake popularity as an exemption to quality.
