They have a hugh menu and although I only grabbed a margarita and some nachos I can guess most everything will be fresh.
Don’t expect service since you order and pay at the counter. There is interested and outside seating. The one front of the house employee didn’t ask if I needed anything else or ask how the food was. He didn’t need to I guess and I’m probably just used to it. Aside from that I can’t wait to try other options.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a spectacular lunch at La Veracruzana for about a couple of hours. The food was phenomenal and the service was exemplary. I had an issue with a tip being charged to my debit card that I did not authorize and they promptly addressed it and rebilled my debit card for the food amount only- that’s pretty spectacular. Thank you, La Veracruzana.

The Mexican gem of Amherst continues to impress! Their veggie taquitos are a must-try. I don’t think I’ve ever had better nachos. As a vegetarian family, we often struggle to find variety at Mexican restaurants, but this place nails it. Everything is made fresh, and they cater to your dietary preferences – a rare find. Highly recommend for fellow veggie lovers

Delicious! They have a ton of variety in the dishes, so most people should be able to find something they like. Therr are also plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Above average Mexican food. We tried the fajitas and biria tacos, both were flavorful and fresh. They offer counter service ao you order your food and pick it up, but there is a bar as well. The atmosphere is pretty basic.

Food is decent. But I ordered an agua fresca and they managed to accidentally serve me a margarita- I am not 21! My group’s food also arrived an hour apart from first to last order, even though we all ordered within 5 min of each other.

This has been a staple for amazing fresh delicious Mexican food in Amherst for over 30 years. The new location they moved to is much bigger and can accommodate a lot more people but still the same amazing food. Everything’s good try the tostada highly recommended.
