The unique blend of menu items and lively atmosphere make this restaurant a refreshing place to eat at! However, beware… They’ve recently started charging for water.

From the moment you walk in, you get greeted with friendly staff and a beautiful dining area that consists of indoor and outdoor seating that blend together. I appreciate that while this feels like an upscale restaurant, you’re still welcome to dress casually. They have a great music playlist and attentive staff that really make you feel comfortable.

The menu has a lot of variety. There’s something for everyone! Whether you are feeling like eating something light or having something hearty, there’s plenty of great options. This expands even further if you’re a seafood lover. I was even impressed by their beef dishes. The ribeye tacos with bone marrow were rich and perfectly seasoned. They felt like some of the most flavorful tacos I’ve had. Their shrimp and salmon dishes are also great tasting. If you love great looking plates, this restaurant does a great job at making every plate picture-worthy. In addition to all this, you get complimentary soup and chips.

Pricing feels reasonable for what you get. There are quite a few dishes that are priced on the higher end, but you always get quality and generous portions. You can honestly get a good meal spending less than $30.

And now the scummy part. They recently started charging for water. $3.50 per Aquafina bottle. That’s insane! At least give me higher quality water for that price. Even other places that charge for water give you a glass bottle. I find this diminishing and insulting. If they really needed that small amount of revenue, they should focus on menu items. I really hope they don’t continue with this sort of predatory action.

Overall, great experience with great food that ended on a sour note after finding out that a plastic water bottle is worth $3.50 to them.

The food and service were good, a bit pricey but overall it was good. The drinks were great. One thing I didn’t like is that my octopus had only 6 tentacles instead of 8. When I asked the waitress she didn’t have a good answer. She said it was sold by weight. I noticed they have octopus on ceviche and tostadas….. there is the answer. Overall it was a good experience. The staff is awesome.

If I could give this restaurant 10-stars, I would. The chef considers every detail from colors, taste, and quality. It is a little costly $$-$$$ but well worth it. The best damn margaritas also. Oh, and the fine details; presentation Also, let’s not forget the salsa; delicious.

First time here staff was friendly and atmosphere is nice inside. Michelada mix is light in color needed spice to it. Ordered the calamari as appetizer, came with fries which I thought were good as far as the calamari it was okay not worth the price. I had the steak with lobster and shrimp came with mashed potatoes (cold). You can get a better steak at the roadhouse shrimp lacked flavor. Lobster was good. As a side had the pasta also plain no flavor. Over all not worth the price in my opinion

The food is amazing here. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly, as well as the scallops and shrimp! However, the service was terrible. Our appetizers, drinks, and food took forever to be served. I would like to come back here, but we paid $250 for 7 people and the food took almost 2 hours to arrive.

Best experience in the valley! Chef creates such incredible works of art that you get to eat! Service with a genuine smile and grace. The best ever Tito’s Mule, all three of them. Thank you to the entire staff!
By the way, Seafood Pazole is out of this world!

Such a great, unique place! La Uno Cocina de Mar. Is such a great place for food, drinks and a great ambiance! Their food is amazing, with so many great dishes on menu. Their drink menu is definitely unique as well! I had their margarita which was fresh and had tequila I could actually taste! Take time to have lunch with friends or your next dinner date here, you won’t regret it.

Came here craving a good handcrafted margarita and shrimp cocktail. Was immediately serviced well with their seafood broth, tostadas and combination of salsas. Would highly recommend this place!

The most yummy fish tacos! Nice place for dinner. We went on a Sunday evening and it was pretty chill. Had a variety of dishes and the pulpo and tacos were the star of the show. The cactus wine Rita sure has a strong kick to it lol. Will definitely come back here!

Great food, excellent service and knowledgeable staff. This is one of our go to spots for good seafood and drinks. The ceviche is really good as is the octopus plate. If they have the cornbread dessert that is the chefs specialty I recommend it, you will not be disappointed. It is not like southern corn bread, it is like a pan de elote with a cheesecake like consistency.
