Loved the sopa de res! It’s all I wanted in a Latin soup dish. A hearty serving of perfectly seasoned beef and veggies. Location is no frills however very clean, and service is fast and friendly.

What a little gem in Franklin. We had been meaning to try this spot for a while and finally did today. I ordered two different pupusas and my partner got the Típico with steak. Everything was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The woman working there was incredibly kind and helpful. We left full and happy!

What an amazing addition to our town ! It’s very clean and the service is excellent. The food is 10/10 for me !! Here is a breakdown of what we have loved.
1) pupusas – it’s a delicious corn meal patty stuffed with cheese ! They add meat, spinach , zucchini or beans . The slaw that comes with it pairs perfectly with the flavors . It comes with a red or green sauce .
2) Baleadas !! – it’s a flour tortilla with beans and cheese . The flour tortilla is soft and fresh! They taste homemade You can add meat and eggs to it. It’s an excellent breakfast option .
3) there soup is delicious , lots of veggies and it’s well seasoned broth . It’s perfect for a cold or hot day . It comes with a side of rice and tortillas
4) plato típico – the STEAK !!!!!! It’s sooo delicious ! And the chicken too! It has a little bit of everything: cheese / beans / plantains / avocado . It comes with sour cream ( I took the picture after I had started eating )
Try their Agua fresca ! Their Jamaica water has a little cinnamon in it

I’m really impressed by this little place! Both the flour and corn tortillas were handmade, which made a big difference. The pupusas were excellent — the cheese was perfectly melted and flavorful. The Jamaica water was also refreshing and delicious. The only downside was that three of the items I wanted were sold out. Other than that, everything we tried was absolutely delicious.

Fabulous food at a good price. The baleadas are big and delicious. Get a side of plantains for a sweet side. My partner had the soup. Next time I may get it as it seems to be a favorite with the regulars. This was our second time here. I’m sure we will be back agin and agin

You can’t beat the fresh pupusas, amazing tamales, and great attitude of the people who work here. The flavors are big, and unlike what most Americans have had, but in the best way possible. You’re mistaken if you are thinking this is some Mexican food knock off. Instead, it’s the perfect blend of some Mexican flavors and some South American/ Caribbean flavors. If it’s a cold day, get the atol!!

We go here to get tamales. It is chicken tamale wrapped in a banana leaf. We love them and they always pack a delicious sauce with it and have them wrapped to stay warm. They have good prices and fast service. Truly a great local family owned restaurant with nice staff and delicious food.
