Our visit to IU always include stopping here for either lunch or dinner. Great food and atmosphere. Not sure why the other place gets more crowds but we never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. Forgot to take pictures of chips with guacamole but it’s superb!

So glad we checked this spot out while in Bloomington. The atmosphere was so nice & beautifully decorated. I can only imagine how fun the vibe must be at night. We started with the tamale bites & they were absolutely delicious (honestly, I could eat them as a whole meal!). I had the chicken enchiladas which were full of flavor with just the right amount of kick, nothing I couldn’t handle. Our server was awesome & made the experience even better.
Also, there’s a parking garage across the street from here. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are visiting.

This review is for their take out service. Food is good but the few times I’ve ordered take out it’s always an issue. Most recently I ordered $70 with it food online. The restaurant uses Doordash. My husband went to pick it up and it took twice as long as they estimated. That’s frustrating but not a big deal. What is a big deal is after waiting so long they didn’t include half of the food. My husband didn’t check the bag, so that’s on him, but I expect the restaurant to do their job and check it before giving it to a customer. I reported the missing items through Doordash and they only refunded my half of the cost. I won’t get take out from here again.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we have in Bloomington! Reasonably priced, excellent food, great service. One of the few places in town that serve Birria tacos. The street taco platter was great. The green avocado salsa was pretty spicy but very good.

As newcomers to Bloomington, we were excited to try out this Mexican restaurant, and overall, the food did not disappoint! The flavors were vibrant, and the dishes were truly delicious, showcasing the best of Mexican cuisine.
However, we faced some challenges with the service. It appeared that the staff could benefit from more training, as there were noticeable delays and a lack of attentiveness during our visit. Additionally, we didn’t see any management present to address these issues, which contributed to our overall experience feeling a bit chaotic.
While the food is definitely worth a visit, we hope that the restaurant can improve its service to match the quality of the meals. With some focused training and better management oversight, this place has great potential!

This was our first time here and very much enjoyed ourselves. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable, and seemed to enjoy sharing his knowledge of tequilas and the difference between what they had to offer. The “Spicy Margarita” was an absolute treat made with their in house tequila soaked in habanero peppers. We also enjoyed partaking in a flight of 4 different tequilas alongside 3 of their street tacos. Is you are fan at all of tequila then you should definitely give this place a chance.

Service can be a little slow, and sometimes confused, but they make up for that in spirit, so it’s great. Don’t forget to carry your IDs if you look anything under 40, and intend to drink alcohol. Food is absolutely fantastic based on your tastes. Someone with a penchant for zingier, zestier food might enjoy the cuisine more than someone used to eating milder flavored/less seasoned foods. Atmosphere always feels like there’s a party going on. Great place for lunch because their afternoon bar has some attractive deals. I personally loved the place and keep going whenever I get a chance. It’s decently priced(though slightly expensive) for students with a part time job. Make sure to split the bill if you take a date. This place is worth considering if you are looking for a fine dine restaurant that should fit your budget with a little overextension (while also filling your tummy).

We showed up at noon and were seated, but nothing was finished being set-up. It’s fairly new, and the food was very good, and the server was kind. I just recommend coming later in the day to be safe.

We just stopped in for a quick bite. Very nice place. Friendly servers. My husband had a pescado (fish) taco which he really enjoyed. We shared the salsa trio which was also very good. The pineapple salsa is VERY hot. Be careful Would definitely return to try more food.
