La Tropicana Tacos Y Mas serves excellent, authentic Mexican food. The service was a little subpar probably a 2.5/5 but the food is what I care about, and it more than made up for it, easily a 5/5. No chips and salsa to start, but no problem there since the food was spot on. I had the green chicken enchiladas and wow, they were incredible, equal to or maybe even better than my Hispanic mother-in-law’s. Definitely a spot to keep in mind when you are in the area, especially for a late-night craving.

Averagely good place. Went with a big party so we got to try a few different dishes. The tacos are pretty good. Al pastor was a bit dry for my preference but the flavor was still good. The salsas were good. The tortillas were also good!
The rice was too salty, rice and beans were actually not finished among my group. And the saltiness was the common comment.
The horchata water is gross the cinnamon just over powered the drink, definitely a package made drink.
The tacos, tortas and the fries were definitely good though. The staff were also super friendly especially considering the size of our group!

Was in the area and wanted to try some tropical Mexican seafood. I ordered Camarones a la Diabla and an ice tea. While waiting for my order I got to see the Thunder basketball game on one of several big TVs. My order was delivered to my table in short time and I was surprised how much food was on the plate as it was loaded to the edge. This plate came with shrimp in a spicy hot tomato sauce, grilled onions, bell peppers, and sliced jalapeños. To the side was Mexican rice, refried beans, and home made corn tortillas. Everything was super delicious and authentic. My waitress was attentive and friendly. Inside was a simple Mexican decor and they had Mexican music playing in the background. I very much enjoyed dining here and highly recommend this place for sure.

Had tacos de al pastor and Gorditas de al pastor and asada. Muy ricos! Very delicious and both meats were juicy and tender! The salsas were pretty good too! Added an extra umph! The agua de limón was perfect. Not too sweet. The suiza plate sauce was a little sour for the sauce, wish it had been creamier but the rice and beans were soooo gooood!! Rice was soft and fluffy and the beans had homemade taste as if they were cooked in the olla. Only thing i have to say was service was kinda slow and the ladies didn’t really check up on us after they took our order and brought the food out, but food was 10/10.

The place o not prepared to receive multiple guests a the same time. Today we had a terrible experience with the service. The place was about 80% full, our waitress was polite and efficient, however we had to wait for around 1.15 mins for our food to arrive. She apologize and said they were not prepared for the amount of people. They had several servers around, but the problem was in the kitchen. No management apologize for the inconvenience. If you see that the place is almost full, be tray to wait o your food. In addition, in my opinion the e food wasn’t gray neither. Just my opinion. Not coming back and neither of my party of 10.

My brother usually treats us to lunch or dinner at La Tropicana whenever we are visiting OKC. It’s a large taqueria with plenty of seating and very clean.
We all ordered tacos, I had them with al pastor. They were pretty good and the tortilla didn’t break apart, which is a plus for me.
They also have an attached ice cream shop, but they were closed that day so we didn’t get a chance to try it.
I’d recommend this taqueria to anyone in the area looking to stuff their face with some quality tacos.

The Cubana sandwich is a must have. No – LISTEN TO ME.
I went to Tacos y Mas for lengua tacos – which to me are the best of all tacos. Boy, was I in for a surprise.
I’m a sandwich connoisseur. Worked at Jimmy John’s, been through every notable sandwich shop in St Louis. Everytime I build my own sandwich people ask me what I got.
The Cubana here is beyond exceptional. Probably the best Latin sandwich I’ve had outside of Miami.
Have one every day – this is my medical advice.
The lengua tacos were also good

A lot of Mexican food places around here in middle of all of them and this is the worst I’ve ever had in my whole 49ers a living I don’t know who’s cooking the food, but I got it and the rice was so disgusting. The beans didn’t have any seasoning. The chimichanga didn’t have any seasoning in it. It was just Plain Carnita meat, and it smelled like a wet dog I didn’t have no flavor and it was swimming and sour cream and it was leaking on my container and email that don’t see you have a high rating it up and make it taste better and still taste good so I didn’t eat dinner very disappointed and mad that I lost my money when class would taste better than

Our 7 persons family went here tonight and we had the worst service (when we got helped they were nice ) but we got here at 830 waited 20 min for them to clean a table. Then another 45 min. For our food . Food was good . But it was priced one thing on menu and they charged us a totally different price. Raised by 2-3 $ per item. Then they added their own tip in and didn’t say anything and then we left tip on table. Our bill was $188.95 ive been to plenty of wonderful Mexican restaurants and this one was nothing more than average. No chips ans salsa no fountain sodas then charged us over 2$ for a can of soda . Just outrageous. I will never go back. They in my opinion took advantage of us! My mouth hit the floor when I heard the total 2 of our people got kids menu items. Just beware if you go here. Also not to sound racist but we felt like the Hispanic population got way better service than we did! Just all the way around disappointed

Customer service is good, very polite wait staff. Food was alright, probably won’t come here again. Do not get the pupusas, they were very dry and did not have much flavor. I payed $7 for my plate and only took a few bites of each one. The cabbage dressing that goes along with these was very dry as well. No flavor. Stick to El salvadoran joints for pupusas. On the upside the torta I ordered was good. I did enjoy that.
