A special thank you to Jesus, who took amazing care of us throughout the evening. His attention, kindness, and professionalism truly elevated our experience and made the celebration unforgettable.
We highly recommend La Tremenda for any special occasion and will definitely be coming back!
The server was excellent. She was super friendly, knew how to explain each dish and gave great recommendations.
The good was good. I had the beef carpaccio which was really good. Only thing I dis not like was it was a bit salty of my liking. Had the grouper with potatoes. Honestly superseded my expectations. It really was delicious and desert had the Crema Catalana that was perfect. It was not overly sweet
Would definitely visit them again.
This an update-
We went on a Thursday night. Lovely cosy atmosphere. The food was still fantastic and we loves the their Happy Hour options!
Highly recommend again!
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Jeniree welcomed us warmly and quickly seated us, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. We were delighted to learn that their weekday happy hour runs from 4–8 pm, featuring two-for-one drinks along with a selection of delicious appetizers.
We enjoyed four appetizers: calamari, fried pork belly, Cantabrian anchovies, and Pan Tumaca — each beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Arroz Negro and the Asopao de Mariscos. The presentation was lovely, and both dishes were incredibly satisfying and delightful to our taste buds.
The ambiance was magnificent, with soft lighting that created an elegant atmosphere, complemented by a pleasant lounge music playlist that allowed us to enjoy the music while still easily conversing.
We truly enjoyed every moment of our dining experience and can’t wait to return.
Last Friday, we were looking for a good seafood restaurant near our home and decided to try La Tremenda Spanish Restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations.
We started with a non-alcoholic beer, but it was served warm, and the glass wasn’t chilled, which is something we typically expect from a well-managed restaurant. Hoping for a better dining experience, we ordered the black rice with calamari ink. The presentation was decent, but the dish itself was overcooked and overly salty. The calamari was inconsistently cooked—some pieces were soft, while others were too tough to eat.
The atmosphere was lively but very noisy due to the live music. While the sound was decent, it was a bit overwhelming. The “bailaora” (flamenco dancer), however, was a highlight of the evening and added an authentic touch.
Service was okay, but there were small yet important details missing—for example, proper service utensils and a cover for the rice, which is a standard practice in traditional Spanish restaurants.
Overall, it was disappointing to see a place that doesn’t fully meet the expectations of a true Spanish restaurant. Sadly, based on this experience, it’s not a place we’d be eager to revisit. Hopefully, they can improve on these aspects to truly deliver an authentic and high-quality Spanish dining experience
