This place is absolutely amazing thru and thru! Today was my first time trying this restaurant and I am leaving speechless. If you live or will be in Greenville, NC I highly recommend you stop by!! Also first time having sushi at a Mexican restaurant and hands down best sushi I have ever had!!

Found another gem here in Greenville! Friendly and helpful staff and the food was great tasting and nicely portioned. Had the Chori Pollo. Really liked the salsa picante they offered. Everything was fresh and fresh tasting. Would definitely recommend a visit to La Tovara!

This was our second visit, and just like the first time, it was a great experience. The food was amazing, the service was friendly, and everything came out quickly. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Our waiter , Héctor, was very patient with us as we are a very indecisive crew. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed dining in. The restaurant had a nice vibe, the staff was very nice and made sure everyone was satisfied. The food was pricey…they added gratuity to our bill for a group of 2..but was very good and we tipped more bc the waiter was very attentive. The food presentation was wonderful. The drink was very good and mixed will come here again when we want good food and drink and have money to burn.

Food is good and for a good price too, the place is nice and at least when I went it looked romantic or maybe cause I went there for a date lol idk. It was adorned with roses all over.

This place is so nice! IMMEDIATELY upon entering I was POLITELY GREETED & seated. All staff were polite, clean, neat and well groomed. The restaurant is AMAZINGLY SUPER CLEAN & nicely decorated. I didn’t use the restroom so I can’t comment on it. My hibiscus tea was delicious. My meal was served neatly & my ONLY complaint is that it wasn’t hot. It was warm but not hot. That’s the FIRST time happening for me at a Mexican eatery! With that said, it was so good that I was able to eat 85% of my meal even though it wasn’t hot! Yes, it was that good!!! I will return but the next time I will specify that I need my food to be hot! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It has an extensive seafood menu in addition to the “Tex-Mex” food. 99% of the patrons appeared to be of Latin American decent and that speaks volumes of the authenticity of the cuisine! Thank you staff for making my visit a pleasant one.
