Don’t be fooled by the old Mexican place that was here previously this is under new !!! Food Is absolute grand in authenticity and flavor. The service is good with an A/C unit The chips and salsa are a banger very authentic Recipe spicy enough to get your nose runny but not spicy enough where your gut is upset. The tio is the best and services I’ve had on the island. He absolutely does a great job At running this newly open Newly under new management and ownership, I believe I have been to Several Mexican cuisine restaurants on the island. my dollar is well spent here for the proportion and food quality & service. I have been here/ back multiple times and the Uncle is always greeting and has good service. I know he doesn’t offer a combo plate, but he did offer one for my mother-in-law which she absolutely loved. Her favorite was the chili Relleno with green sauce. She is a fan of those chips and salsa. I have gotten the taco plate, the torta and the taco salad plate and my wife also had the veggie burrito which is an absolute beast! Please come by and support this newly opened Mexican restaurant. It’s a two-man job here, but the food is always hot!! Temperature and Cuisine. We love the fried ice cream dessert!!

This restaurant is under NEW OWNERSHIP and you have to go check it out! Delicious food and fair prices. Chips and salsa for free. The salsa is homemade and it’s really spicy. I had the chimichanga with carne assada and it was delicious, well seasoned. Finally found great Mexican restaurant on the island.

Service: 5 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 2
First of all, the gentleman working was very nice. That being said, I am concerned that many of the 5 star reviews are not genuine, given the “authentic” label. There is nothing authentic about the food whether Mexican or Tex-Mex. If Taco Bell is a 1 and a street corner in Mexico City is a 10, this establishment is a 2-3. All due respect to the small business.

I’ve traveled all over the Nation and love eating Mexican food. I’ve deployed to central America many times as well. This food is authentic. The owner and I assume his wife are the ones cooking. Don’t waste your time going to other places. Prices are good too. If you like authentic Mexican food it’s good food!

Had dinner here last night. The food was great. I had the Bruja Rice Bowl with shredded beef and my husband had the chimichanga. Both plates were delicious! The red sauce that goes on the chimichanga is so good I was pouring it over my bowl too. Chips and salsa are complimentary and the guacamole is GOOD! Music was pleasant and made you want to dance a little. The owner is so friendly and sweet. He mentioned he will also be open on holidays which is so great for families that need somewhere to go or don’t want to cook. Try this place out and get to know the owner, you will not regret it.

Toñita, Armando, Karen and Coral treat you like family. Food is great, we try six of their dishes and they were all delicious. Thank you all for the amazing service and your support to the troops!
They offer 10% military discount every day!

I ordered the birria tacos and was surprised that it was flavorless. The consume was mostly onions and cilantro. The price was fair for the island but wasn’t worth it when nothing had flavor. Both mine and my husbands plate had rice that was dry and very little flavor. I was disappointed that the horchata was mostly ice it tasted great. Overall won’t be going back but the staff will treat you great

Haven’t found a food place that made mexican food taste close to home. Until a friend recommend this place. The owner is very friendly and sweet. The music just makes you want to dance lol. If you haven’t tried it you should give it a try.

I gave this place a fair shot and it didn’t quite do the trick. Enchiladas seemed like they were just rolled and microwaved, the tacos were plain, and the taco salad fell short. Also they didn’t have any music or anything so it was silent except for the conversation of my group. Prices were ok but one can make a better taco at home. I’m sorry if this was too harsh

My favorite Mexican place on island.
Hot chips and very fresh salsa. The birria and fajita burritos were incredible with massive portions (one burrito is two meals for me). You can tell the ingredients are collected, cut and cooked fresh to order. The menu has a lot of traditional items, actual authentic plates and also some Americanized choices if you’d prefer.
¡Gracias por la comida auténtica!
