This spot is very Americanized. They sell single tacos for $3-$4 but that doesn’t apply to traditional Mexican street tacos. One traditional taco with meat, onions, and cilantro is $7.99! This outrageous price isn’t listed anywhere on the menu. The manager refused to budge on the price and simply told us don’t order that again. Someone in my party ordered fajitas and had extra meat left over. These people want $1.25 for an extra tortilla! The meal only came with 2 which is clearly not enough. They were flour tortillas at that. If you pay with card, expect a 3% surcharge. Food was decent…nothing to write home about. Fajitas didn’t even sizzle.

I’m rating this a 5 but my full accurate review would probably be a 3: First, it’s a very typical Mexican restaurant that you find in just about every small city. That can be good or bad depending on your preference. However, it’s priced way above it’s quality range. Second, everything is good but nothing is great. We ordered steak tacos, a quesadilla, and a beef steak adobado. It was good, but again, not great. Third, we were left alone a little too much. To where we were never able to ask for napkins and refills on drinks were way overdue. Regardless of all that, we left satisfied and full, the place was clean, and staff was friendly. If you’re the type just looking for a night out of the house, it’s a “5” but if you’re looking for great Mexican food, it’s a “3”

We are new in the area, found this place and ENJOYED it! The food was good. It was busy and the drinks were amazing!! The staff was friendly and sufficient.
So on our second visit….we knew exactly where to go. We ordered our dinner. My husband ordered a combo plate with a skirt steak, as described in the menu. What came out was not a skirt steak. My husband questioned the server. And he replied ” I didn’t write the menu” and said he’d get someone to talk to us. I saw him talk to a gentleman and then a woman came to us. She questioned what our “issue was”. My husband explained that the meat on his plate is not the skirt steak described. She first tried to argue with us that it was. That they consider that cut as skirt steak. My husband told her that it wasnt. He knew the difference. He was talking calmly. She snapped at him saying ‘If you are going to talk in Spanish, talk in Spanish, if not talk in English” Which shocked us, because he was talking in English (so i could understand, as I dont speak Spanish). He just has a thick accent. He offered to speak to her in Spanish if she was more comfortable. We weren’t ugly about it, we weren’t argumentative. She actually could have lied to us and said they ran out of the cut of meat and we would have been ok with it. I looked up and there was 3 men surrounding the lady. It was intimidating. Then to add to the insult, she asked “Do you think we would charge $15 for a skirt steak?” To which my husband replied, “No. But I was thinking it was a combination plate, so I’d get a smaller amount not a full portion of steak.” She just smirked at us. The interaction was very ugly for customer service. Although our food was delicious, we couldn’t enjoy it after that incident. We won’t be coming back. And sadly, this establishment probably wouldn’t care.

I always get the Fajita Nachos from here…because they’re excellent. I consider myself a nacho connoisseur, so trust me when I say these are really good.
The restaurant is small, but nice, and the staff have always been good. Service is quick and price is just about right! Can’t wait for my next nacho craving!

Food was much better the second time we were at the restaurant. Unfortunately we have high standards on Mexican food because we used to live in Texas. Service always feels rushed but likely the waiter is very punctual in managing multiple tables. We are not lacking for anything, it just seems very transactional. We will return again for some good food.

We came in at lunch time and the food was simply delicious. Generous portion sizes, very well made traditional Mexican food with just enough heat to remind me of New Mexico. The atmosphere was pleasant and staff are friendly. This will become one of our favorite choices.
