took almost an hour to get our food. 20+ minutes for a drink. got things we said we didn’t want. almost $20 for a sampler plate that isn’t enough food to feed a child. the Second photo shows a quesadilla… Anybody else confused on that quesadilla? Cause I’ve never seen a quesadilla like that. I paid almost $200. It was not worth it. I had multiple complaints and nothing was comped. I called to talk to a manager today and he said that people call and complain all the time so if he refunded everybody’s money, they wouldn’t be in business and he questioned basically everything I said.

0/10 . 0 star if it was an option.

This was our first trip. We really enjoyed our meals. Carne asada and carnitas were excellent. Good margaritas and nice atmosphere!

We came here to celebrate a birthday and were happy with the food. They have quite a few vegetarian options and a section on their menu just for vegetarian food, which is hard to come by in some Mexican restaurants. The food tasted the same as any Mexican place and didn’t stand out that much, but the portion sizes were large. Definitely recommend the fresh guacamole!

Never had a Hawaiian style Fajita before but oh man, I was NOT disappointed at all. The food was fantastic. We sat at the bar and I loved how the bartender sprayed down the bar in between customers. I’m super excited to go back and try something else on the menu.

Not nearly as good as other locations of this chain. They nickel and dime with extra charges, the oil used for cooking is cheap, and the portions are markedly smaller. As a regular patron of other LaTolteca locations, I say avoid this one like the plague. The positive I will mention is a good server though he failed to mention up charges on things that, again, are typically not extra at other locations

Had a great Taco Tuesday. My chicken street Tacos were delicious & fresh guacamole was amazing. We also had the black beans this time which have been better than the refried beans. Our waitress was amazing and even remembered what we liked to drink.

I’ve only been here for the Birria tacos. They are meaty and tender. The service was great!

I hate to give bad reviews but unfortunately, today’s experience was not good. I was looking forward to eating here as my wife and I pass it often and I love Mexican food. We had the time today and were hungry, it was about 1:30 pm. We were greeted and sat immediately, the decor is nice and the restaurant looked clean. We were brought chips and salsa immediately upon sitting and the server told us she would be “right back” for our drink orders. It took her over 15 minutes to come back for our drink order. We were actually getting up to leave when the server noticed and ran back to our table for our drink order. We ordered steak fajitas to split and kept a menu in case we wanted to order something else. It took about 40 minutes for the fajitas to arrive. The fajitas were not sizzling and the meat on the top was cold. There were no plates, tortillas, or set up (the plate with fajita fixings) delivered to the table. I had to get up and ask for this. The fajita beef was mostly luke warm, seems like it sat in expo a while and we tasted no seasoning. The food in my opinion was bland and unseasoned. The salsa seemed like it was out of a jar, the most tasty item was the unsalted tortilla chips which were served fresh and warm. I honestly did appreciate they were not salted. Another thing we noticed was each table that was being served never had all their dishes arrive at the same time. One or two people would receive their food and the other people at the table would receive their food five to ten minutes later. Parents were receiving food before their children. There was a lady and her kid sat five minutes after us and as we were leaving they still had not received their food. I was seriously waiting for Robert Irvine to walk in and shut down the service. I was sure we walked into an episode of Restaurant Impossable. Unfortunately, we hadn’t.

This place has decent food. The atmosphere is so much fun but the lighting doesn’t really lend itself to ambiance. The menu is extensive but there are very few low carb options.
