The best mexican food ever. The birria eggrolls are amazing. I also had the asada, shrimp, tinga chicken and tinga beef tacos all of them delicious. If you can try the churros too. If you like a good taste spicy sauce they have it too. Overall it was great.

We’ve been to La Tingeria several times since they opened this location, and the food has been amazing every single visit. All of their meat is Halal, and even the chorizo is made with chicken sausage.
The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but it’s located in a strip center with plenty of parking. Inside, it’s casual with picnic-style seating. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. The gentleman at the register is there every time we go, and he does a great job explaining all the different menu items.
This last visit, I had the Torta — a large, delicious, and very filling sandwich. We also had several types of tacos, plus chips and salsa. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

We ordered take out, and they made our food very quickly! Excellent pricing for delicious food. I ordered the three fish tacos and my partner ordered three of the Taco Hal Pastor Chicken, which we both devoured. The only thing I noticed was they didn’t have a description online for the fish tacos, and it came with a crema sauce which I normally wouldn’t eat (because I am lactose-intolerant), but couldn’t resist. I would just recommend maybe including a description to let people know who may have allergies, then again, I didn’t think to ask either. All of the flavors were tied together really well, and we will definitely be coming back! These guys definitely deserve the recognition and five stars. I loved the art and atmosphere inside too, and the staff were friendly when I picked up my order.

I really liked this place for the past years but yesterday the chicken chorizo seemed dry kinda old, woke up with a fever and watery stool, I never get sick but the fact that’s the only thing I ate yesterday leads me to believe this is what caused it. Looking at my old review pictures the difference is visible. Please take better care to prevent food borne illness you guys make great tacos.

We stopped by La Tingeria in Spotsylvania and tried the El Pasado taco, birria goat, and birria beef—and wow, everything was phenomenal! The flavors were incredible, and the sauces were out of this world. We even got to meet the owner, who was super friendly and welcoming. Ended up ordering more to go because it was just that good! Highly recommend this spot if you want authentic, delicious food and great service.

Hands down the very best Mexican I’ve had on the East Coast! You will not regret it, and you may kick yourself for waiting. I will be making the trip from NStafford as often as I can. Highly recommend the Birria Eggrolls, a fan favorite according to the top notch team member at the register! The consume is hearty broth with the slightest hint of cinnamon. Fish Tacos are a solid choice that wins folks over to become their steady (also according to the cashier) – crispy tender and well balanced ingredients. The only negative I hesitate to mention is the avocado mayo? swipe with the egg rolls seemed more like an American concession, and too heavy to dip the egg rolls in. I mixed it with the fresh tomatoes and shredded lettuce garnish, though, and that was a good choice to keep me from making a mess of myself like usual eating to fast.

I went to this location for the first Thursday July 24, 2025 around 5:45pm. I was craving Mexican food (specifically tacos) and I was searching for restaurants I could go to before I went to work. I saw this location had rave reviews and I decided to see what all the hype was about. Upon entry, it has a very vibrant and open layout with a written down menu in bold text. The guy at the registers name was Assaf, and he knows the menu from front to back, he explained everything very well, and I decided to go with a shrimp taco, chicken tinga taco, and a birria beef brisket taco. He also gave me a Strawberry Agua Fresca and a caramel churro on the house to try to see what I thought of it. Everything was incredible, the flavors blended together so well. The shrimp taco was the best I’ve ever had! Plenty of grilled shrimp, with avocado, mangoes, and this delicious sauce. The chicken tinga taco was super juicy and flavorful, same for the birria beef taco. The strawberry fresca was perfect thirst quencher to help wash down all the good food I had. The caramel churro was on another level though, next time I’ll order three of them lol. Since my first visit I’ve already been here two more times, and it never disappoints, the chorizo chicken quesadilla was also great same for the tres leches cake! I still need to try their horchata, tostadas, goat, and elote. I highly recommend this place, as prices are decent, you can order everything a la carte, and they have plenty of options. They also have a quick order kiosk for those that don’t wanna interact with the employees. I have to give one last shout out to the cook at the time Gabriel, as everything was hot and made correctly!

Upon entry, the atmosphere is very clean and appealing to the eye with the welcoming art on the walls. The menu is easy to read and the hospitality is also welcoming!

They are also just incredibly tasty. The fresh waters are also tasty and the perfect amount of sweetness (I got horchata).
