This restaurant was a nice place to sit and eat. They have a very large menu with many options and choices. The food came quickly and was hot. The portions were good and we both were full when we left with some leftovers. The guacamole dip was decent but average. The margs were very good and good sized. The salsa was really good as were the chips. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the portions. They do have some very good vegetarian options on the menu. The service was good with the waiters making sure we were taken care of, until it was time to pay. Took them awhile to check us out. With just the one visit, I would recommend it, especially with the limited options in this small town. It was good food, good portions, good service and really good margs with fair prices.

Food was excellent, service was also wonderful. My only downfall was the noise level. There were so many people, and it was so loud i could barely hear myself or my waiter. The walls bounced sound off them causing a loud echo.

Well we were Chilitos fans until we found this place. They have spoiled us with the best tasting Mexican food/ Chips and salsa around. Very attentive and friendly service and The atmosphere is very pleasing. The place is clean and well kept too. We drive from Hudson and it’s well worth it.. We love La Terraza!!

Excellent food with a spacious menu. Building is large with lots of seating and a full bar with outdoor patio. Service was fast, courteous and professional. Small town Mexican restaurant with big city taste. Definetly worth a stop.

My mom and dad love this place and I have become a fan also. They have great Mexican food and Mexican seafood dishes, which is a welcome change from the usual chicken and beef combos. Their menu seems overwhelming at first, but I try a different item everytime I come and enjoy every selection I have made so far, that I still haven’t settled on a favorite. They are reasonably priced and I really like their decor. Very festive and exuberant colors. GREAT PLACE TO EAT.

The food was yummy! The Tortilla chips were not the best, but everything else tasted great! The restaurant was nicely decorated and played salsa music which was nice. The service was perfect as well. I’ll be back.

Huge improvement from my last review! Dined in with a friend.. food was amazing, steak burritos and taco de carde asada. Meals were fresh, hot, tasty and presentable! Fast, friendly service.

La Terraza in Traer has me hooked !! The wait staff is well trained and helpful and the decor of the dining area is just beautiful..exposed brick walls in a room this large could be too much, but their tasteful choice of tables, chairs and decorations, smooth the look.
I had a perfectly made Lime Margarita and their Guadalajara Burrito..Beef, Chicken and Shrimp with Green Peppers and Onions smothered in rich Queso Sauce.
Then I top this with Salsa Fresca and fiery Salsa Picante. It is a feast !!
It is worth the drive, 5 stars all around.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. They just about doubled their seating size recently. Good to see it thriving. Been there several times now and the quality and quantity of food has always been great! See you there soon!
