Celebrated a birthday at La Terraza Bar & Grill last night and we had a great time. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. It’s definitely a great spot for parties and group gatherings. We’ll be back. ️

Upon entering, the hostess asked to scan our IDs. We were told, no joke, that it’s “because [they] want to know who is here.” What does that even mean? Anyway, the hostess scanned our IDs and we chose to be seated on the patio, unaware that there was a large, boisterous group celebrating something. Not a big deal.
We started with a pitcher of sangria, thinking it would be a better deal than ordering three or four drinks. The pitcher was good for at least eight drinks. Great deal.
For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari. The waitress suggested the calamari instead of the three empanada appetizer. The calamari (no tentacles) was good, but it wasn’t hot when it arrived at the table. It was served with a smoky mayo sauce and a sweet chili sauce.
For the entree, my companion and I chose the parrillada terraza, a mound of steak, and grilled chicken and shrimp. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium, but it was definitely well done and tough in some parts. The chicken and shrimp were delicious. The meal comes with two sides. We chose sweet plantains and yuca mash. Both sides were good.
The atmosphere was okay. I see a DJ booth, but thankfully they were playing prerecorded music at a comfortable volume. The one announce was a large fan blowing constantly in our direction. We asked the waitress if it could be redirected, but well… it didn’t really happen.
I would probably return. For the amount spent, I feel that we received a good amount of food and drink.

I’ve been coming here for years for the vibe, music, and late-night hookah, but tonight was hands down my worst experience ever.
Our waitress was rude, ignored us for over 30 minutes, stayed on her phone, never brought us water, never checked on us, and never brought the bill. The DJ and hookah guy ended up doing her job. They were far more attentive and helpful than our actual waitress.
To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity was added despite the complete lack of service.
The DJ was great, the hookah was fine, but the service was unacceptable and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

Food, drinks and service were on point. Best mofongo and garlic sauce I’ve ever had. Little disappointed in them adding their own gratuity though when the menu and bill both say its only added to parties of 6 or more. We were a party of 2. Then on top of adding their own gratuity, they give you a requested gratuity on top of that. If you don’t look carefully you wouldn’t see it. Bit shady. We would have probably tipped more if it wasn’t for that. I’m def coming back. Just check the bill.

Had a delicious dinner and comfortable atmosphere. Our Server was on point. Our food was amazing. The drinks were also delicious. Having hookah is a great option. Great spot for a late dinner and chill. The only thing it was a lil chilly. But that didn’t matter. The Asian fusion menu was filling and tasted great.

I visited yesterday. Keep in mind this is dead in the middle of the heatwave. It’s was uncomfortably hot and humid in the outdoor portion of the restaurant. Anyway now on to the food. We ordered the salmon croquettes, the chicken Empanadas and the camarones. The salmon croquettes were way more filler than actual salmon. It tasted like mush. Wouldn’t recommend. The chicken Empanadas had more cheese than chicken in it. Wouldn’t recommend either. For the entrees we ordered the grilled skirt steak and the penne pasta a la vodka with shrimp. The shirt steak was alright. A little salty but wasn’t that bad. The side of rice that came with it was a no for me. The penne a la vodka was ok too. The cheese in it and on top tasted artificial.
The server was on point. That’s about the only positive I can mention.

There’s not enough I can brag about this place!! From the ambience to the hospitality then the food!! I had the fried snapper and let me say this… I don’t order fish from ANYWHERE! EVER! But here! Fried perfectly seasoned perfectly severed perfectllllyyyy!! Babyyyy no where else can compare. Ive been here twice back to back and they have never disappointed! I will be back always!! Love to the whole staff.

I am so happy that one of my friends suggested I check it out. First parking is on the side streets so you may need to walk a bit. No big deal.
Once you get inside, the vibe is pumping. The latin music fills the air and you are transported.
Our server, Andrew was extremely nice and on his game.
The food, we had appetizers; Picalonga and LTZ Dumplings very filling and enough to serve a Party of 5 or a bit more. Then I had asked Andrew what’s the signature dish, he suggested Churrasco a la Parrilla. I had mine Medium rare and it was DELICIOUS. As for drinks, well we kept them coming because they were extremely tasty, Sweet Passion and Coquito. Both dangerously good. Drink responsibility please.
Then we enjoyed some Blueberry Hookah!
Now I didn’t have room for dessert so I guess I will have to next time I go.
My only disappointment was no place to dance. Maybe accommodations for that in the future? But this is a GREAT LATIN NIGHT OUT EXPERIENCE!
