Not a great experience on Friday evening. Place was busy, as always (we’ve been before). Seated at a table right in the mushing hand action. Good and fun vibe with lots of TV sports.
Our server was awful. Longer waits than surrounding tables, hot the order slightly off, but forgot to enter my daughter’s dinner. To make it worse, she abandoned our table after that and a friendly manager took over. Not sure why, as I was not rude (I promise!).
Food was ok but poor service overshadowed the experience.

Delicious food and wonderful wait staff. We had Haley and she was such a doll. Elote was the best I’ve ever had and their beans omggggg. Let’s talk about their chips and delicious salsa the chips are freshly made and they’re so fluffy not hard and stale like other places. Definitely a great experience and we will be back.

Great food, friendly service, Nice atmosphere beachy vibe on the outside deck on the second floor where you get views of the ocean even though its back from the ocean. Total different vide from the seafood restaurant on the first floor. Yes they could use new signs as I live in the area and passed right by thinking it was just the Boston Fish house below. Anyhow, I read the reviews before writing this review and I wonder if they were at the restaurant at all. My experience was nothing but great. There were friendly servers all over and the food was the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. I still don’t understand the total due vs cash due thing. (see picture) I will be back, this place is great.

The food was absolutely flavorfilled and very clean. There were many options and the amount served is perfect and very filling. The service was great and attentive. The restaurant was on top of two other and there are two flights of stairs you have to walk up and there is no elevator.

We had dinner here last night and we have to say that this place has Some of the Best Authentic Mexican food we’ve eating in along time. We just moved here from Charleston SC and we have eating many restaurants not to mention my wife is a 5 Star chef. Anyhow the Service was par because they were slammed with large tables. We didn’t mind. The Margaritas are Killer also& the chips and salsa was Grest also ! We will definitely be back !!! Thank you for the wonderful meal

We love the La Terraza. Small upstairs around side of building. Love they give you free chips and salsa. I had delicious shrimp tacos and a margarita. Both were very good. Waitress was very nice and had them sub flour tortillas because thats what I prefer. Got beans as a side which were tasty. Husband got chicken enchiladas and rice which he said was very good.

a pain to find the place. handicap can’t come here because it’s upstairs and no ramp or elevator. the shredded chicken taste like canned chicken. grilled chicken was decent. margs are good. server had zero personality. hardly came by. took for ever to cash us out. one server had leggings on that were straight see thru. could see her whole butt. bathrooms smell awful. won’t be back.

My girlfriend and I went for Taco Tuesday tonight was served by the manager. Horrible experience. Food is always decent.
Barry sangria was made with old
cold red wine in a mason jar with no berries. My girlfriend, ordered a side of french fries, and got refried beans.
The server who’s actually the manager never table touched once. To ask us how our drinks or food was. I couldn’t even get a refill on my water.
Also, the manager was wearing two black gloves and going back into the kitchen and not changing his gloves from the kitchen to touching tables to running food. Major Health code violation.
On top of that, the four top that sat after us got served drinks and food before us because he’s the owner of Beachside Tavern.
Safe to say the manager/server/hostess/food runner receive no tip on his table because he had terrible customer service.
That’s coming from a couple who works in multiple restaurants in the service industry and beachside.
Overall, an awful experience from the start.

We went in a recommendation for the Monday night special moleajetes , Margaritas , table side guacamole were awesome! Angel was our server , he didn’t miss a beat. Friendly staff, manger came over explains things to us.
