The drink menu is very nice too. And even the music is pleasant. Definitely a place to go for a nice night out.
I finished with their homemade vanilla ice cream with rum raisin, and yes, there was actual rum in there. Let’s just say it was the kind of dessert that makes you sit back and go, well this is happiness.
The place feels cozy and classic, almost like you wandered into a little Paris corner in Chiang Mai. The staff was warm and welcoming, the kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without fuss.
If you want a long, relaxing French lunch that tastes amazing from start to finish, this is the spot. I’m already thinking about what to try next. 🙂
Hidden away in plain site. This is without a shadow of a doubt the finest French cuisine in Chiang Mai.
I was truly astounded by the authenticity of this understated establishment in a serene garden setting in the Old Town part of the city.
The food was presented better than most Michelin star restaurant which shows the pride the owner and chef has for French cuisine.
An extensive menu is complimented by exceptional service from a waiter that has a thorough knowledge of French cuisine and is genuinely friendly as well as helpful.
Transport yourself from Chiang Mai to Paris in an instant and savour the ambience of authentic French dining within the tastefully decorated restaurant.
A delight for all your senses at a reasonable price considering the authenticity as well as quality of the entire dining experience…
This restaurant deserves 6 stars … a least !
Le Terrasse is without doubt our favourite French restaurant in Chiang Mai. We went there to discover raclette, and what a discovery it was. The chef doesn’t skimp on quantity, and the cheese and charcuterie dishes were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. It’s impossible to go wrong, La Terrasse never lets you down and keeps all its promises of quality and conviviality,
it really exceeded all our expectations
The go to place if you’re looking for something authentic and amazing Italian- French cuisine.
The chef who I believe was also the owner of this restaurant catered to and went all out considering our dietary restrictions.
He ensured to make the food best to suit our palate, and more importantly, that we enjoyed every bite.
Right from the tomato soup (be careful when ordering cause the quantity is sufficient for 3 people and quite filling as well )
The pasta was el Dante and very tasty.
They serve a complimentary serving of bread with butter, so order mindfully.
The servings are very filling
I’ve tried the food here at several occasions and I’ve been impressed with the quality and taste of the dishes every single time.
Steaks melt in your mouth and are cooked to perfection, portions are super generous, sides, starters, desserts, everything is so delicious.
You have to come experience this for yourself. This is the most authentic delicious French food you can find in Chiang Mai with the real flavors of French homemade cuisine. ❤️
The decor was what you expect for a French bistro. The restaurant was tucked away from the road so it was nice and quiet. All in all a great experience and one of the best French restaurants in CM, definitely worth a visit if you’re bored with Thai food or want great wine.
