La Teresita offers authentic, generous portions of Cuban food with fast, friendly service and great value, featuring dishes like roast pork, ropa vieja, and fresh Cuban bread. It is a bustling, family-owned Cuban gem that delivers a flavorful, filling, and affordable taste of Cuba. I got the Vaca Frita: Flank steak, grilled with garlic, onions, and green peppers. Black beans, yellow rice. Cafe con leche.

We went in on a whim, the reviews are good! The food was great! The potato balls were really good and I liked it a lot! The portions are large and filling! The soup was really delicious and was different than other tortilla soups I’ve had so that was nice to see. The yellow rice was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely go back.

I love eating here. The food is like your Abuela made it. Normally at a restaurant I order the same thing every time but not at La Teresita. Consistently good and I find myself ordering a variety of meals and they are all good. And I am a celiac so to find so many options because the ingredients don’t include gluten in most of the meals. It’s my happy place to eat. Service is good. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is a tad dated but the bathrooms are very clean. I don’t mind that it’s not shiny and new looking because the food is so good.

I was honestly disappointed. The food was cold I had a Cubano with plantains that were frozen, not fresh, so they didn’t cook properly. My lady had the bistec sandwich, which came with very little meat, one piece of lettuce, and was mostly bread.
I can at least say I liked that my bread was crispy, but unfortunately that’s all I got.
You’re welcome in advance.

La Teresita was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavor, and the staff was welcoming and attentive.
I’m Cuban and recently moved to St. Pete from Miami, so I have high standards when it comes to Hispanic food. La Teresita truly delivered. It felt like home and is easily one of the best spots I’ve found since moving here.
I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone.

I stumbled across this family owned restaurant that has Fantastic Food and excellent service. It was a Hot day for me and the server was very friendly and kind. The extra water was very nice. The food is great as the spices are not overwhelming but very tasty. The guava and cheese turnovers are to die for fresh and perfect flaky crust. The Cuban was the best I have had in any Cuban restaurant. I’m an Empanada connoisseur so when I say it was great it really was. I’m looking forward to returning to try some of the other dishes Enjoy.

Excellent! Our waiter was fantastic I think his name was Jesse. The food here is phenomenal. I had the Cuban. We also ordered the appetizer platter. Everything on it was great. My husband got an entree & the beans were really good as was everything else. The drinks aren’t cheap. A beer was 7.50. But it was nice & cold. It’s also really cute I like the whole inner dinning area & I also saw it has an outdoor dinning area although it was hot & we didn’t check it out yet

The food here is delicious! I’ve been a few times and had the palomilla steak and it’s cooked well, the onions are perfect and the white rice is so good! My fiancé loves the bistec empanizado sandwich and we tried the croquetas de jamón, papá rellena and tamales and they were all great. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend.
