Delicious food made from fresh ingredients and served hot. I recommend the pozole or the birria. Both hit the spot on a cold night. Serving was plenty for a big appetite or you could easily be a meal for two. Service was super friendly.

The food was so delicious. The homemade tortillas were fresh. The atmosphere was wonderful and cozy. I highly recommend going here.

I love this place, been coming here a few years now. The tortilla soup is my absolute favorite, you can tell they put a lot of love into it. It has a such rich flavor and generous amount of chicken. I also love their giant corn quesadillas, yum! It’s right down the street from me which is a great bonus.

I ordered the California burrito. Look at the picture and look at the one they have on the website, maybe half the size? I’ve ordered it before and I his just feels lazy. If you’re going to make them half the size atleast update your picture to reflect that and charge a bit less. It’s like a large rolled taco haha, just a waste of money.

Whenever I come here I get the carne asada fries usually. Most the of the times I’ve been the fries are never cooked all the way. Never crispy. I even ask for crispy fries & still get fries that are oily & flimsy.

I just ordered the 4 Carne Asada tacos with rice and beans. I’m from southern Cali “CPT” and tacos are really important to me in every way but these tacos were skimpiest tacos I ever ate. When I eat street tacos I like to pull the shells apart to make another taco but I couldn’t do that which was a let down. Not enough asada, onion or cilantro. Both red and green sauce was bland as hell with no spice. I definitely had to add salt and lime to give the tacos some kinda life so I can enjoy my meal. The rice and beans were good but I did come for the sides I wanted the street . I know I’m in WA but please do better.

It was alright… the megabirria was pretty good, but it didn’t come with the consomé which I feel like is weird because that’s a must whenever you get birria. So $5 extra for a cup of it seemed crazy. The tacos were not that great, especially at $4/taco. The carne asada was charred and dry since the pieces were so small. Al pastor wasn’t very flavorful and the al carbon was decent. The fajitas were pretty standard, just less sizzling and flavorful. The passion fruit marg was just mix and tequila, very syrup-y. Wouldn’t go back just because there are better spots with much better quality for that price

Casual Mexican eatery in Lakewood very close to the American Lake beach. You order at the register before finding a seat/ table for yourself and then the workers will bring your food out. plate dishes are really big. The food was pretty good and came out fast. Didn’t like that you have to pay for chips and salsa, and the salsa is really spicy. Overall, okay place. They have a nice outdoor patio area.

I was doing a job down the road I decided to come here for lunch. I ordered the special the”wet burrito”Indy bottle of Coke.when the girl working the register asked me mild medium or spicy. I said I would like to have it “medium spicy”she looked at me and repeated in a robotic voice,”mild medium or spicy”I probably should have left just then. I tried to explain that I do like a little spice I do not want my mouth to be set on fire. When I ordered the wet burrito or the burrito special at most I go to it is always topped with onions. Black olives maybe a little tomato cilantro etc some cantinas even giving you a little dab of sour cream and guacamole as well as part of the meal, which always makes a great presentation when it gets set in front of you. Like they say “you first taste your meal with your eyes”I went and sat myself at a table with the soft drink I purchased in eagerly awaited for her to come to the table with some chips and salsa.NOPE. Apparently they don’t do that here but they work pretty fast with the burrito. The pictures below kind of explain why. Just doesn’t seem to be much effort made. And I was the only person in the restaurant. I was hungry so I cut into my burrito and noticed there seem to be more beans than chicken, and it was spicy before I was a quarter way through the dish my $5 lukewarm Coca-Cola was gone looking at the cocktail list I quickly set the list down when I seen the 20-dollar margarita I went back to the counter to order some guacamole and sour cream to help neutralize the atomic meal and glass of water I’m glad I have my credit card with me because that cost almost $10. Never once the girl come to the table to refill your water or offer a to-go container. I left the restaurant without seeing any of the employees as I pushed the door
I would highly suggest you take your 30 plus dollars and eat elsewhere. I can’t see this place still being in business six months from now unless they make some serious changes.
Even the customers that give this establishment stellar reviews, you look at the pictures of the plates they were served and are like, REALLY?

The first time we visited, we were highly impressed. The salsa and chips are very good and we were told they are made in house. However, after coming in a few times we were less impressed. The quality of the tacos varies depending on what you get in them. My friend likes the fish taco. I thought the brisket tacos were good as the brisket is nice and juicy but the beef taco is super dry and full of fat and gristle and needs some salsa or something to help it go down. The shredded chicken taco was also very dry. The burritos are pretty good but also need some kind of salsa added to them for flavor and moisture. Overall the food is good. The service, though, varies on which waitress is working that day. The lady that was working our first few times in was excellent. She was friendly and helpful and even remembered us from our previous visit. But the last few times we went in, there were other ladies working that were far less professional. One of the ladies can’t remember an order two seconds after hearing it and even after me repeating it for her I still got served something totally different from what I ordered. The very last time we went in, another different waitress totally ignored us so she could take orders at the counter. When she finally did come over to give us menus we told her we were already ready to order and she said she would come back but she didn’t. She continued to take orders at the counter fast food style until we gave up and left. I understand taking orders at the counter if the customer wants it, but if that is the preferred method then let the customer know and don’t be charging restaurant prices for cafeteria service.
