For the past five years, I have been a regular at this establishment, and it is disheartening to share that my experiences with the service have not improved. Every time I place an order, there seems to be some sort of mistake. I am fluent in Spanish and have attempted to communicate my preferences to the staff, but unfortunately, my instructions are not followed.
I often order eggs for a large group of people, each with their specific preferences. However, the staff always manages to get the orders wrong. For instance, I ask for easy eggs, but they serve them over hard. The beans are another issue – they are served as quarter beans, with the rest being water. I prefer my beans normal not to be more watery, but that is not the case here.
The sour cream served at this establishment also raises concerns. The staff adds water to it, presumably to save money, which negatively impacts the quality and the message it sends to clients. It suggests a lack of care for the people who dine there.
I have reached out to the management to address these issues, but they have yet to return my calls. I have even called the store directly, only to be hung up on. As a result, I have lost faith in this establishment and will take my business elsewhere, where I feel valued as a customer.
I strongly recommend that anyone planning to visit this establishment carefully checks their order before leaving, to ensure it matches their request.
Management needs to prioritize training, starting from the owner and extending to every staff member, including the dishwasher. Improved etiquette and humanity in their service would significantly enhance the dining experience for their customers.

LA TAZA ALEXANDRIA:
At the beginning pupusas were good. Over all food at this place is pricey and not all of it taste great or its well done. I still like some of their breakfast items though.
However, I paid almost 10 bucks for empanadas de leche and i will let ypu be the judge of that…. adonde se quedo la leche?

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!
They have one the worst customer service, they’re super mean in person as well as taking orders over the phone and are never have avocados for the dishes advertised with avocado so they never give you the avocado that you pay for with your dish, and on top of that they treat you like the food you order its being paid from their paycheck. Horrible service and the food is not even that good, definitely not worth the sour moment you’ll have coming here…

Great place, the food is tradicional, great tasted, friendly staff who didn’t act like they were doing me a favor. I am Salvadorian and hate going to Latin food restaurants because the staff is always bitter and act like they are doing me a favor.
There was music playing but literally as background music and not some night club with vulgar words that most Latin food restaurants play, making the place not family friendly.
There are cheaper places but for the kind service, clean restaurant, and tasty food, I will pay the price.

My husband and I went in yesterday around 7:45 as soon as we walked in it seemed like everyone working was ready to leave which i was confused about since the website says it closes at 9. We proceeded to order our food which took about 20 min reasonable time i thought until i got into the car and checked my food which was freezing cold unacceptable. we go back and the one who prepped our food did not seem happy that we were back literally just warmed up the same ones we had,at this point our balada and our mexican torta was soggy and nasty. I will never go back to this place.

I come here for my sister’s bread, but we are panning to never come back as the customer service is the poorest I had ever seen. They never greed or thank customers for their business and still have de courage to have a tip jar. Owner has to get involve more and train them better otherwise they will close soon.

I am very torn about this place. This food is among the most flavorful, clean and authentic tasting I’ve had in the area but their service is spotty at best. It’s a shame because their pastries are very good too. My favorite Latino pastry is the Semita de Pina (pineapple filled sweet bread) and they make theirs pretty well here. Their Pan Con Todo (a deceptively simple sandwich that is very flavorful made of egg, re-fried beans, and avocado) is among the most unique and best tasting breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Their Pan con Pollo (a Salvodoran style chicken sandwich with a variety of different veggies) is also on point. This place is good, I just wish their service was better.

TERRIBLE place…. I got robbed twice!!!! One time they charge me $17.50 for one breakfast…
And yesterday April 1st I went and buy 3 peace of bread and the nasty lady charged me $13.25…. For the same exactly 3 peace of bread at Megamart I only pay $4.75
