Consistently delicious food with outstanding options across a nicely varied menu. The small, cozy dining area creates a lively atmosphere of happy patrons. Reservations are required for the dinner hours due to limited seating and high demand. Check out the lunch hours for additional opportunities. This should be a regular stop for anyone in the Burlington area. Excellent food, service, and prices make for a fully satisfying experience.

Tried shrimp scampi for the first time here!! Brilliant old world Italian dining here….you won’t find anywhere else in the surrounding areas. The owners take prime care of all their customers including the locals! A must stop, must manga’, must bring your family and friends! Try the vodka sauce, you won’t regret it!! 20 stars!! ✨

Best Italian food I have ever had to date. The environment is clean and romantic. Once you eat here all other Italian dishes will be subpar. Service is absolutely amazing. Wide variety of drinks and wines. Very reasonably priced. I have tried multiple different menu items and have enjoyed them all. My personal favorites eggplant rolatini (appitizer), fettuccine alfredo with shrimp (entree), cannoli (desert). Must make reservations for dinner.

My husband took me to a surprise dinner location and this place didn’t disappoint my appetite! It was definitely romantic I felt like we had the best seat in the house. The booth by the window in the middle facing the kitchen but not too close to get to see the action. The music was a lovely touch. And the food was amazing.

I am an east coast person and have eaten at some top notch Italian restaurants from Bostons North End to New York, Jersey down to Baltimore.
My friends took me here and I was blown away!
The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Chicken parmigiana was cooked in a pan not a deep fryer, perfect.
The sauce was homemade and very nice.
Meatballs fantastic.
Sausage was tough and rubbery (I was very surprised) the waitress took that off the bill.
Tiramisu absolutely top notch.
Our server Ausslin was top notch.
Thanks for a great experience in Iowa

A small little Italian restaurant. Very cosy and homey atmosphere. Interiors are rich green, dark brown and light brown. Seats are comfortable. Service is quick. Servers are polite and friendly. Food is good. Especially spaghetti and their freshly made pizza. It has an open kitchen concept. Recommend to have reservations as the restaurant with limited capacity tend to be full most of the time.

Upon entering you could smell the deliciousness. This small Italian restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. We ordered garlic knots and a sausage and pepperoni pizza. Thin crust with nice leopard spotting underneath. The sausage was delicious with a fennel forward taste. For those who like lots of sauce on their pizza this may not be for you. For me this pizza had a well balanced flavor. This place is definitely worth a drive.

So here’s the deal… I grew up in NY surrounded by the BEST Italian food. Throughout my life I have traveled to different areas of the US and the world. I know how I like my Italian.
I just finished eating at La Travola in Burlington Iowa. Now that’s my kind of Italian!
I went for lunch and had the Eggplant Parmesan! Magnificent! Real eggplant, real house made sauce, real house made salad dressing. The plating was sizable (had to request a take away box).
I loved the atmosphere. This is a small restaurant – like being at Nona’s house. I was seated quickly – lunch service was just starting – but by the time I left there were people waiting to be seated. Reservations for dinner service would be best.
My server was Sam. She was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient.
I will definitely return.

Been here several times and it’s always a positive experience. The food and service has always been good. Prices are reasonable. In our most recent dining experience here I had the shrimp scampi which was very good. The menu is large and varied. I always order something different. Seating is limited so reservations are reccomended.
