I read reviews that said about the portions being generous, and trust me that is true!! We had scallops, and a crab salad as starters and both had fillet steaks as our mains, with a delightful bottle of house red! Other than spilling my main all over myself! ♀️ everything was perfection!

Wow, cheepest french cuisine ive come across, for only £27.50 (£25 meal plus vat) wad able to enjoy 3 amazing dishes. These include 6 snails in a garlic butter sauce with sliced bread for dipping, followed by french onion soup with a cheese cooked piece of bread inside, finished with a lovely cremè brule

Excellent meal. Myself, snails and rossini. Partner, brie then chicken followed by a shared cheese desert. Portions just right. Bit less in cost to Bellagios and more than Romanos. About rhe aame cost as Aromas and equally as good.

What a surprise, not been to this Restaurant for ages, it’s had a very nice makeover if my memory serves me right, good welcome, nice table at the rear of restaurant, it was quite busy, drinks order arrived quickly, order taken and 1st course arrived in good time, very tasty, main course we asked for 10min delay and when it arrived it was cooked to my choice, side orders excellent, shared dessert, price reasonable, overall it was a smashing evening, will we return? Yes, thank you to all staff, front of house and kitchen

What a great surprise this turned out to be . A polite welcome from a lovely couple into their neat and tidy restaurant, that had a great menu with a variety of food and beverage options to choose from. Four of us and we’d chosen La Tavern after being given a recommendation by some locals.
It was simply superb, so much so, that we went back again. Prompt service and well presented tasty meals that were fresh and enticing.. “we all really enjoyed the evenings, and moreso the wonderful food”

What a fabulous place!Came back to Jersey for our 40th Wedding Anniversary and spent the evening here.Service wonderful and the food was brilliant. Perfectly cooked and fresh.We highly recommend you eat there…but book when busy periods so as not to be unhappy you can’t get a table.
