Wow! Im very impressed with this place both the staff & the food definitely 10 of 10! It was very busy but they take care of you right away, our waiter Victor was to attentive. I really wasn’t expecting this great of service & food. This brunch has a large variety of authentic Mexican food.
The have Menudo, picadillo, carne con papas, barbacoa, consomé, chilaquiles, discada, chicharrón con salsa, puerco en morita, puerco en salsa verde, tinga, mole, arroz, spaghetti verde y rojo, flautas, hot chocolate, champurrado, café the olla, aguas frescas & so so so much more. The food was really good, way better than other places. The staff is so friendly, even though it’s such a busy spot I promise you you’ll get taken care of & good. I loved the mariachi the ambience is just a happy place. Everyone here is smiling & happy.
Best Mexican brunch in Houston, Tx!

We came to the underground tunnels and came across this spot right at the beginning, usually a Mexican spot for me is a hit or miss but I was pleasantly surprised when I actually tried my cucumber lime drink and torta, my husband got the quesadilla. The pastor was so good! Probably the best I’ve have thus far, my husband and I definitely give this place a 10/10. We are so glad to have picked this spot. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location and cool vibes.

Service and atmosphere:
Customer service was top notch. Everybody was friendly and very helpful.
The restaurant is located in the Houston underground system that stretches over 95 blocks! It was modern, clean, and well organised.
They also had live mariachi band.

Food and drinks:
We arrive here on Sunday as this is the only day they offer all you can eat buffet. Even though we arrived 2 hours before closing time, the line and wait time were still long. It was worth it though.
Great selection of well prepared and seasoned traditional Mexican dishes. Many meats and vegetables variations to choose from. Side salsas were fresh and gave extra depth and textures.
You can choose soft drinks or coffees to accompany your meals.

Pricing:
$$/$ – just over $40 per person but considering the location, all you can eat and food quality I think it’s worth it.

We received unparalleled service from Susana, who highly recommended the atole de nuez, which was delicious. The barbacoa and consome were my favorite, but there were too many delicious options. I especially loved the mariachi and the music they played afterwards. I’ll definitely be back.

Came in for Sunday brunch. Waited about 1 hr in the line but the ambiance was great. Susana was our server and make the experience pleasant. Would love to come back! Very good authentic food and music. Parking is available in the building and can be validated when you pay.

Amazing all you can eat Mexican food! My husband and I came Sunday morning, a little after they opened and there was already a line. Our wait was maybe about 10-15 mins but we didn’t mind. The food selection is amazing, fresh and everything tasted so good. Comfort food. It is a little pricey. It came out to $83 for 2 adults. $30.95 a person and $7 for drinks. You can choose between aguas frescas or coffee but you can’t switch. Which sucks in my opinion, I already paid so why not switch. The aguas frescas were TOO sweet, my husband tried about 3 different ones and they were all the same. I couldn’t drink it. I ordered calle the olla and I loved it. Overall, it was amazing and we will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Oh, I asked our server to validate our parking, she said she did but it didn’t work. We had to pay $8.66 for parking

Buffet style and Mariachi is only on Sundays but I recommend to reserve a table a day prior, otherwise you will be waiting over an hour for a table.

We went on a saturday this time and the menu is not as big but the food is delicious
I highly recommend Sopes

A bit pricey but that’s downtown food prices. Tacos are nicely stuffed with meat. Fidel soup is a bit salty. The tacos are tasty, but not as flavorful as some other tacos in Houston. Wish they didn’t charge for extra salsa.
