This place is amazingly deliciously, unique, and clean! They received 100 on their health inspection. This is authentic Mexican cuisine without all the chips, salsa, cheese dip, guacamole, and frills of Tex-Mex Americans think they need. Nope! Just great food, prepared in parchment and aluminum foil to go! Can’t wait to eat there again. The volcano was my favorite!

We have endeavored to try local taco restaurants and La Taqueria 59 was our latest stop. The food was delicious and came out quickly. There was a limited variety of options but it still satisfied our tastes. The only inconveniences among our experience was the temperature of the restaurant and that there were no bottle cokes. They had multiple oscillating fans blowing in the restaurant but it was still very hot. Otherwise this was a phenomenal experience. The staff was phenomenal and answered any questions we had. Will definitely return when it’s cooler outside.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food. The food was quick and delicious. We would highly recommend. The kids burrito was huge—equivalent size to a chipotle burrito. Kids quesadillas were also a big hit. I had the Asada tacos and they were perfect with the various sauce options they had.

Just go here! The people are so friendly and focused on delicious food. My 2 year old son LOVED the slightly sweet hibiscus iced tea and the al pastor burrito, roasted pork on a vertical rotisserie with a pineapple drizzling over it. Smokey, sweet c’mon!

I never knew this place existed and I eat Mexican food regularly…. I should have been coming here the whole time. I always get carne asada so I did that and tried the pork tacos at the recommendation of a worker there- both were excellent. The 5 star rating on Google makes alot of sense now. If you’re on the fence, definitely give it a shot. Very reasonably priced as well. I will certainly be back.
